Vivek respectfully guided Kashi towards the private elevator leading to the top floor, where Vishwanath's personal cabin stood. The soft ding of the elevator echoed in the quiet corridor as they stepped in. Kashi's heart was still pacing, this time not with nervousness, but from the thrill of everything she had just witnessed.
The elevator dinged again as it opened to the topmost floor of the Singhania Empire, the floor that very few had access to. This was his floor. The domain of Vishwanath Rai Singhania. Everything here spoke of exclusivity, whether it was the polished marble underfoot or the minimalist yet expensive decor.
They stopped in front of a tall oak door sleek, polished, and carved with elegant golden initials Vishwanath Rai Singhania. Just below, in smaller but equally regal lettering, was the title CEO. Vivek stepped forward, opened the door carefully, and then stepped aside.
"Ma'am, this is Sir's cabin," he said with a slight bow. "Would you like some tea, coffee or anything to eat while you wait?"
Kashi shook her head gently, offering him a kind smile. "No, thank you, Vivek ji. I'm fine. You should go and join Vishwanath ji in the meeting. He might need you" she said, stepping into the cabin.
Vivek gave a slight bow. "As you wish, Ma'am. Please let me know if you need anything." With that, he left, and the soft click of the door closing behind her wrapped the space in silence.
Kashi turned and gasped softly. Her feet remained frozen at the threshold. This wasn't just an office. This was a kingdom.
The cabin spanned almost the entire floor. A vast, luxurious space that blended opulence with elegance. The flooring was hand-cut Italian marble, inlaid with soft grey and champagne-gold veining that shimmered under the golden downlights. The furniture was elegant yet commanding, rich mahogany and matte black steel.
The walls were a mix of warm walnut panels and matte black accents, creating a balance of tradition and modernity. A grand chandelier, minimalist yet awe-striking hung from the center, casting soft light across the space like cascading stars.
To her left stood a tall glass shelf displaying curated collectibles, books bound in leather, vintage globes, antique clocks, and miniature replicas of Singhania's first-ever textile machine. On the right, another section featured high-tech displays, digital presentation equipment, and an automated sliding cabinet system built into the wall.
But it was the far end of the room that stole her breath away. A floor-to-ceiling glass wall offering a panoramic view of the entire city below. From this height, Bundelkhand looked like a moving painting, roads snaking through hills, rivers sparkling like silk ribbons, and tiny cars weaving through the landscape like scattered beads on a thread.
It was majestic. It was surreal.
Drawn towards the space, Kashi walked in softly, her anklets barely making a sound against the marble. Her eyes scanned the majestic office until they landed on a polished display shelf to her right.
She walked towards it. There dozens of trophies gleamed in the soft lighting. They were neatly arranged, with small brass labels on each. There were accolades for
