If you enjoy the story, please take a moment to vote and leave a comment. I pour my heart and soul into every chapter I write, spending hours crafting each scene to bring my story to life for you all. But lately, I've been feeling a little disheartened. Despite putting in so much effort, the response hasn't matched the energy and love I give to my work. I keep my targets minimal, just hoping for a few votes and comments your feedback truly motivates me. But even those small goals often go unmet, and it gets disheartening. I hope this chapter receives your love and response!

"There won't be a next time," Vishwanath said firmly, his gaze serious and unwavering. "Because you won't have to doubt where we stand again. Understood?"
Kashi nodded quickly, her cheeks still pink but her heart full. "Understood, Veer ji."
A comfortable silence settled between them, the earlier tension melting away like morning dew under sunlight. The heaviness in Kashi's chest dissolved, replaced by a quiet warmth she couldn't quite describe. She risked another glance at him and found him already watching her, eyes softer than she had ever seen.
A soft smile curved her lips. Maybe being bold wasn't such a bad thing after all.
"Vaise, Kashi," (Well, Kashi) he began, his tone teasing, "agar tum mujhe har argument ke baad aise hi manane wali ho toh shayad mujhe baar-baar tumse naraaz hone ke baare mein sochna chahiye." (If you are going to pacify me like this after every argument, then maybe I should consider getting upset with you more often)
Her head snapped toward him. Eyes wide, cheeks flaming red. "V-Veer ji! Aap aisa mat boliye!" (V-Veer ji! Don't say such things!)
He chuckled, the sound deep and amused. "Kyu, kya hua? Tumne hi toh kaha tha ki cheek pe kiss karke sorry bolne ke baad koi naraz nahi reh pata hai. I'm just saying, agar tum yeh har baar karne waali ho, toh mujhe bhi thoda maza lene ka haq toh banta hai, nahi?" (Why, what happened? You were the one who said that no one can stay upset after getting a kiss on the cheek as an apology. I'm just saying if you are going to do this every time, then I have the right to enjoy it a little too, don't I?)
"Veer ji!" she squeaked in protest and buried her face in his chest, mortified. He laughed again, wrapping his arm gently around her shoulders.
Aapko mujhe chidhane mein kya maza aata hai?" (What fun do you get from teasing me?") she whined.
"Chidhata hoon tumhare in cute se reactions ko dekhne ke liye," (I tease you just to see these cute reactions of yours) Vishwanath said, his voice rich with affection. He tilted her chin up gently, making her look at him while her arms remained looped around him. "Aur waise bhi, tumne khud hi yeh idea diya hai wifey. Don't blame me agar main future mein iska thoda sa advantage lu toh." (And besides, you're the one who gave me the idea, wifey. Don't blame me if I take a little advantage of it in the future)
She tried to pout, glaring at him in mock annoyance. "You are impossible, husband."
"And you are adorable, wifey," he replied smoothly, his smirk giving way to a warm smile especially at the way she had just called him husband. It was simple, yet it stirred something warm and deep within him.
They both burst out laughing, and Vishwanath placed a soft kiss on her forehead. The tension of the past was gone replaced by love, light teasing, and the peace of two hearts that knew exactly where they stood. In that moment, they were simply them again, unshaken, united, in love.
