Abhinandan POV

My heart stopped beating. The moment I looked into her eyes, I forgot everything. They were filled with Kohl and looked determined to take the ring off my thumb.

But, suddenly, she stopped trying and looked into my eyes, too. We were close.

She was sitting over me, and her body leaning forward over mine. Her weight did not feel like weight, and her knees beside my waist did not feel like restraints.

For a moment, I forgot everything and just stared into her eyes. I found myself in a delicate position. My heartbeat came back when she lowered her gaze, realising what was happening.

I felt her pulling her fingers back from my palm, and I immediately tried to fist my hand. She breathed audibly and placed her other hand on my chest.

"Ring," she whispered, and I shook my head.

"It's mine," I replied in a slow voice. She inhaled deeply before looking over my head at our joined hands.

"You know, It's not," she muttered slowly, shifting upwards. Due to her short height, she could not reach my hand, let alone open my fist and take the ring out of my thumb.

"It's in my hand," I said in a whisper, and I did not know what the hell I was feeling right now.

It was unexplainable.

The way she was sitting over me was doing something to me. It was making me weak, yet a wave of strength was running into my nerves.

She inhaled deeply before looking away momentarily and then looking back at me. I lost one more ounce of strength and gained an ounce of encouragement to hold the ring firmly.

"The ritual has yet to be finished. And you cheated. The ring does not belong to you. I won the two rounds and need to win the third, too. You are lost, and cannot you lose one more time?" she asked in a low yet slightly frustrated voice, and I stared silently at her face.

"Abhi!" She said and pulled herself a little bit more up, and I could feel her weight on my lower abdomen. It was doing something to me. Wrongly.

And something happened at this moment. The way she had her palm over my chest and sitting over me to keep me still was making me feel hot.

I could feel myself turning hard. I meant my manhood.

Lowering my gaze a little, I inhaled a deep breath. I could not win this way. And, it was making me differently uncomfortable.

So, I used my free hand and tried to sit up. But, I could not even reach the way as her weight over me stopped me.

She did not even move an inch and pushed her hand over my chest. My eyes fell closed for a moment when I felt our cheeks brush against each other's for a moment out of her struggle. I felt her hand trying to reach my wrist. A part of me liked the war between us.

I opened my eyes and twisted my hand behind me to make it even more difficult for her to reach.

She clenched her jaw and wrapped his arm around immediately around me to reach me. Her other hand swiftly glided down my chest to around my waist.

A slight smile appeared on my face. She lost all of her weight on me. Our chests touched each other, and I could not help but notice her neck. It was just an inch away from my lips. Her jasmine fragrance felt likeable on my lips.

"Abhi, you cheated," she said, and I felt her hand struggling to pull the ring out of my thumb.

"And?" I could not stop myself from muttering.
