Trishalini POV

I woke up way before my regular time and found myself sleeping on his chest. My head felt heavy and aching.

Moving slowly, I pulled myself away from him and my hand immediately went to my neck, feeling the gold sticking into my skin.

I forgot to change before bed. I sighed deeply. And, neither did Meenakshi remind me.

Closing my eyes, I tried to soothe my neck and remembered the last day. It was tiring. I met almost a hundred and now I do not know even what their names were, or what they do.

Suddenly, I noticed him shifting a little and I looked at him. He turned to the other side and I looked around.

It was still dark and my head was bursting with pain.

Stepping down I had a glass of water and the first thing I did was take my jewellery off. One day I would be found dead because of lack of air. Finally, I took a breath of peace when I stripped the necklace, earrings, headpiece and a half kilogram hanging to my braid.

I did not know how everyone managed those.

After taking them off, I went in to change and wore the night dress that Queen Nandani brought for me.

But, while coming back, I banged into the table and the jar fell.

"Trisha!" Yuvraj spoke all of a sudden and stood up from the bed.

He immediately came running in his sleepiness.

"What happened?" he asked, picking the jug up and I shook my head. I tried to press my hands against the head to soothe it a little.

"What are you doing?" He asked, stepping closer and holding my hand.

"I am having a headache," I said, and a trail of silent tears rolled down my cheek.

"Is it too much?" he asked, and I nodded.

"It's bursting," I said, and he gently held my hand and took me to the bed.

I sat down and noticed him running away somewhere for a few moments before coming back with a bowl of oil and placing it on the table.

"Let me oil your hair," he suggested and I shook my head.

"It's the middle of the night. You should sleep," I said, and he inhaled deeply before sitting beside me. I knew he was getting worried because of me, but I could not help.

"Wait, let me call the physician," he said, standing up and I immediately held his hand.

"No, it's just I forgot to take off the braid jewellery and headpiece," I said, and he sat back and held my hand.

"Okay," he muttered and cleared his throat before lying half-inclined over the pile of pillows and holding my hand to pull me towards him.

I gave in to him and silently laid over him, placing my face on his chest.

"It will be better in a few moments," He said and kissed my forehead.

"I am sorry, you woke up because of me," I could not stop myself from sobbing and he cupped my cheek before wiping my tears away. And, when he did, I broke into even more cries.

I did not know why but it was making me so much vulnerable. No one had ever behaved like this with me. I never felt protected and cared for before in this way.

It was so much to digest.

"Hey, calm down, it will be better, I promise," he muttered in a low voice and I closed my eyes when I felt him holding the end of my braid and opening my hair.
