Trishalini POV

Inhaling a deep breath, I tried to open my eyes and stretch my arms wide.

Where was I?

I wondered as my hands felt slightly retrained but noticed the dark, drawn curtains it did not take me a moment to realise that I was, where I should be.

A small smile tugged on my lips when I felt his hand's weight on my stomach. Shifting a little, I looked over my shoulder to stare at his morning, sleeping and lazy face.

It was calm in here. Absolutely silence but with a few breath intakes, I began to get the visuals from the previous night.

We talked and laughed and I danced.

What?

Did I dance?

I immediately sat up and looked at his innocent face with knit brows.

He asked me to dance?

I could not really remember this.

"Abhi," I immediately called him, but he did not even react as a heavy morning sleeper.

"Abhi," I called out again, shaking his hand a little and he inhaled sharply, blinking his eyes slowly.

"You asked me to dance last night?" I asked, and he tightened his jaw and immediately pulled back, holding my hand.

"Shut up, Trisha, shut up," he muttered in a ruffled and sleepy voice and I could not believe it.

My laziness, sleepiness and everything just vanished.

How could he talk to me like that?

"Abhi, how could you ask me to dance for you? What do you think of me?" I tried to question and push his hand back.

And, suddenly he opened his eyes with anger and looked at me.

Okay, he was not in the mood to talk.

I lowered my gaze and sighed deeply.

"I did not. You wanted to show me your new skill— dancing," he said and I shook my head.

"You are lying. I could never do that," I said, and suddenly he cupped my cheek and pulled me closer to him.

My eyes widened and I blinked nervously.

"What are you doing?"

"Just look into my eyes and tell me if I could make you do anything against your will?" he asked and I gulped with slight timidity and blurt out.

"Yes, you asked me to marry you against my will,"

The moment those words came out of my mouth, he closed his eyes and grunted leaning his face into my neck.

A shiver ran down my spine with the deep voice and I immediately corrected myself. "Well, we negotiated afterwards,"

He pulled back, changed his sleeping position opposite to me and said.

"I did not ask you to do anything last night,"

A smile appeared on my face, noticing the frustration appearing on his face.

Stepping down the bed, I walked down the stairs and left him to sleep. It took me a while to get ready by the time I did, he was awake and going to his chamber.

"Maasa," I muttered, seeing her walking her in my chamber.

"You are up?" she asked and I nodded.

"How are you feeling?" she asked and I wondered why she asked this.
