Abhinandan POV

My heart was fighting for his life not to come out. She seemed drunk.

But, how much drunk?

And, why drunk?

Where had she been?

"See," she said, walking away a little. She laughed suddenly before turning around and seeing her laugh with open mouth and heart, I could not but smile.

She looked beautiful. The yellow colour complemented her skin like gold.

"Wait," she said.

I lifted my brows with confusion.

"We dance with open hair," she told me, and I nodded.

"Oh," I managed to say.

I knew nothing of dancing. But, I was enjoying whatever she was doing.

She smiled looking at me with sparkling eyes, and put her dupatta down. Pulling her braid in front, she tried to pull the hair jewellery out.

I chuckled looking at her and immediately signalled her to come to me, seeing her struggling with it.

Sitting beside me, she giggled looking into my eyes.

She looked happy, and the way blood was rushing to her cheeks was a sight to behold.

Mesmerising.

I tried not to make her awkward with the constant glare and gently touched her hair and jewellery. Slowly opening the strings and pulling it apart from her thick braid.

She inhaled deeply and leaned over my chest.

"I am tired. The day was long," she muttered and I smiled, caressing her cheek.

"You can rest," I tried to say but she immediately sat straight.

"No, I have learnt dancing. You must see it," she said, standing up again and walking back a little. Her open, thick and voluminous hair turned back to me.

"Ready?" she asked placing her hand on the side of her waist and inhaling deeply.

I could not help but bite my lower lip and nodded.

"Always," I muttered and suddenly she palmed her face.

"I am feeling shy," she said, and I chuckled.

"But, no one is here," I tried to say and she placed her hand back to the waist.

"Yes, no one is here but my husband," her words immediately me sink low on the mattress and lie on the pile of pillows.

She was cute.

I had never seen her this happy and jolly.

"Okay, I am starting," she said and began to move her legs a little. The abrupt noise of her anklets filled the chamber and she started singing.

I chuckled a little but suddenly her voice hit me hard. She sings beautifully.

It was a folk song. She laughed and tried to move her waist. The dupatta slipped down her shoulder and she immediately pushed it up. A soft giggle escaped her lips as she began to spin.

Spinning and spinning with joy, she came to me and fell with panting.

"How was it?" she asked looking into my eyes and I just couldn't even look anywhere except her lips and eyes. She was breathing hard.
