Trishalini POV

Rudraja's birthday went well. But, on that occasion, we learned that Agastya was getting married.

Maasa and Daadisa asked Abhi and me to host the wedding. His wife, Sumanika, was Queen Nandani's close friend. And I could not say no.

The next few weeks were eventful. I came close to Queen Nandani and her family. Ranvijay and Agastya have beautiful and intelligent wives.

I was busy the whole time, so Abhi and I did not get a chance to discuss anything. The wedding also brought Rudra Bhaisa and Abhi close.

No one knew what happened that day.

My father also attended the wedding. He was invited, but I told him he behaved as if nothing had happened.

Days kept passing, and Abhi's hatred for me only grew.

Once in two or three weeks, he would ask, and finding me silent, he would only curse.

He was right in his place. But I had reasons not to reveal it—just not yet.

The kids grew bigger, and so did the distance between us.

Abhi had stopped sleeping in my chamber since Agastya's wedding. He had stopped coming to me altogether.

And, as the babies grew, they slept with their father five days a week.

I was left with nothing but the title of Queen.

And, to keep myself sane, I indulged myself more in the work.

The kids turned five a week ago. They only grew bigger. One day, as I was getting ready to begin my day, they brought their father in.

"What are you two doing?" he asked with laughter, and I lowered my gaze, slipping the toe rings in my toes.

"Chaliye na, baapusa,"

"Come na, Baapusa," I heard them say, and they brought him.

I immediately planted a smile on my face.

"What are you two doing?" he asked again, and I stood up from the chair.

"Harsh, Yash, what are you doing?" I asked, and Maharaj sat down to look into their eyes.

"What happened? Why do you bring me here?" he asked, and they both giggled, stepping closer to him.

"Our friend Prakhar said that his father loves his mother the most. So, we Yash Bhaisa told him that our father loves our mother the most, that is right?" Harsh asked, and Maharaj knit his brows while I took the steps closer to them.

"Why are you two asking such stupid questions? Come on, go out and play. Maharaj is busy," I said, and they both did not listen to me.

"Tell us, Baapusa, you love Maasa the most," Yash said, and he chuckled.

"What are two saying?" he stood up. "Come on, get back to your lessons. Why do you guys talk about all these?" he asked and pulled them out.

But Harsh looked at me, and his smile vanished.

"Harsh, come on, Beta, it's okay. You do not have to be the best in everything," I tried to say. Yash pulled his hand out of his, and they both immediately ran out and closed the door. They locked it.

"Harsh, Yash," I raised my voice, immediately stepping towards the door and knocking.

"Open the door. What are you two doing? Enough of your tricks and pranks. Open the door," I raised my voice, and he said, "Harsh, Yash, open the door. I will punish you both for this. I am getting late,"
