Silver spoon and fan were out to see if they could find resources for the group
"Ugh! I forgot on how nasty blood can be once it begins to rot! Disgusting!"
"Well to bad silver, we're gonna have to deal with it till it's solved or we're dead, so suck it up."
Silver rolled his eyes and continued to look for resources then he got an idea
"We could try seeing if the hotel has anything left"
"Are you nuts!? Infected could still be lurking there!"
"Oh please, look at the town, if it got like this then surely the hotel had nothing left for them"
Fan tried to argue back but he did have a point, the hotel probably didn't satisfy them any more due to the town being mauled to death by them. Fan said with hesitation to silver
"Ok fine! But we have to be careful, we could be dead meat if not"
"Don't worry dear, we'll be fine"
Silver spoon and fan made their way to where the hotel was located. They obviously looked at their surroundings and got their weapons ready just in case and once they got to the hotel they couldn't believe it, it was somehow still standing but it looked horrible. Windows broken, some parts of the wall were melted through and the door was broken open. Both looked before taking a shaky breath and walking in, the place was the same when everyone left, but the smell! Disgusting! The body's were still there and they are completely rotting but they didn't dare to look, they checked the kitchen first, chips, cookies etc that were still good, they grabbed it and put it in their bag. Next was the bathrooms all of them. They took body wash's, tooth paste and the extra toothbrush packs along with the mouth rinse, but only one bath room down
"Maybe only a few bathrooms are fine, our bag has limited space"
"Fine, but next is the basement. The attic is to far from us"
Both went to a few more bathrooms before deciding it was enough so they went to the basement, it didn't smell due to no bodies rotting there. They looked around and could only find gardening tools but it was enough for them. But they heard a noise, both quickly went behind the stairs and something came down, Candle. Silver spoon didn't want to look, his girlfriend was now a cold killer monster. Candle looked around and moved boxes trying to see if she could find anyone but couldn't and she growled in frustration. Fan and silver were terrified that they could become her next meal of the day. She walked back up and after a few minutes they went out in hopes she left completely. They quietly went to the front but fan accidentally made a noise and candle heard and she quickly went to where the noise was at, both ran out and unluckily for them she wasn't blind, she chased them and both were running fast as them can
"I TOLD YOU THIS WAS A BAD IDEA!"
"WELL SORRY!"
Both could see the town and were glad but Candle lunched and pinned both down, both screamed as she open her mouth for a bite but something stopped her and she screeched in agony, they look and it was lightbulb!?
"Come one let's get out of here!"
The three ran while she was stunned but it didn't last long, she chased them again and she was PISSED.. lightbulb got silver and fan to the motel but stayed behind to see if she could get the monster to get away from the bunk, she led candle back to where the forest was but candle managed to grabbed her and threw her to a tree, lightbulb felt her glass shatter but only half, her left eye was now gone. She screamed in pain but tried seeing where candle was but couldn't see due to the blood. She tried getting up but was pinned down. She screamed in hopes for someone could hear and luckily it worked. She heard candle screeching and fighting something, was it knife? She wiped the blood off and she was surprised. It wasn't knife it was test tube??? Test tube quickly defeated candle and she ran off. Lightbulb tried to run but couldn't due to her vision being poor.
"Lightbulb!"
It was oj and she could hear that he brought knife with him. Test tube looked at them with her wide frown as oj was near lightbulb protecting her. Knife was in front. Test tube looked at lightbulb, the fear in her eyes.. something flicked inside
"Light Bulb?.."
Knife was taken aback, she did have will left
"Test tube?.. that's you right?.."
Lightbulb got close as she could with her poor eye sight and once she did she could feel test tubes hand and it was huge and she could feel a bit of blood that didn't dry off yet. Test tube stood there and wasn't attacking, oj guessed that even though she is infected she didn't have the heart to hurt lightbulb.
"That's you right? Not the insane one right?.."
"Yea.. it's me.."
Test tube groaned in pain as she could feel the virus trying to control her again, knife didn't waste time and he bit her. She screamed but she felt something entering her blood, knife let go after 15 seconds and backed away.
"You still there?.."
"...why did you do that!?"
Bingo, they got her back
"Well sorry! I gave you some sanity."
"What?"
"Paintbrush bit me while the whole ordeal started and they gave me whatever sanity they had left. So I did the same to you but not all of it"
Test tube looked at her hands and the blood was still on, the others could see she was feeling the guilt.
"How about we go to the motel and get you cleaned up?"
She nodded as knife grabbed lightbulb for a ride and they headed back to the motel.
