Nakaupo kami ngayon sa sofa namin, we were living in the same roof for almost 2 years now.

I'm now working to publish my first ever book, I graduated in BS tourism as Magma cumlaude and Esmael as cumlaude, we both made it!

"I told you, I don't believe in that kind of stuff" bumalik ako sa reyalidad nang marinig ko ang boses ni Esmael.

Esmael isn't a type who believes in coin toss or any magic. He believes that we are the one creating our fate and future.

"Ano ka ba, totoo 'to!

He was just wearing simple black t-shirt but damn, he looks so hot!

"Kahit mag tails 'yan, tayo pa rin. That coin can't dictate our fate, Elia. I would always choose to be with you, with or without you tossing that coin. Tayo ang gagawa ng destiny natin." He said softly

I sat back on the couch, a thoughtful expression on my face. The room falls into a contemplative silence.

"Maybe that's the point. Maybe it's not about the coin at all." I smiled

Esmael raised an eyebrow and said, "what do you mean?"

"Whether we find the coin or not, it's our journey that matters." I kissed him.

He said sofly, inayos niya ang buhok ko.

"That's why you love me" I teased him

"One of the many reasons" he smiled, a genuine smile.

I remember the early days with Esmael so vividly, like a cherished dream I never wanted to wake from.

We were inseparable, our laughter echoing through the halls of our school and the quiet corners of our favorite café.

Every moment with him felt like a beautiful adventure, whether we were exploring new places or simply sitting in comfortable silence.
