That evening, Ken sat at his desk, the house plan neatly laid out in front of him. He picked up his phone and dialed Simon's number. After a few rings, Simon answered.

"Hello, Simon speaking," came the cheerful voice on the other end.

Hi Simon, it's Ken. I wanted to inform you that Annie has finished the house plan," Ken said.

"Wow, that's amazing!" Simon exclaimed. "Annie is so reliable and fast. Please tell her to come with you to our hotel tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. I'll meet you both in the lobby, and I'll inform my wife as well."

Sounds like a plan. See you tomorrow, Simon," Ken replied, feeling satisfied with the arrangement.

After hanging up, Ken took a deep breath before dialing Annie's number. She picked up almost immediately.

Hi Ken," she answered, her voice bright.

"Hey Annie, I just spoke with Simon. He was really impressed with how quickly you completed the house plan. He wants us to meet him and Mrs. Laude at their hotel tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. He'll meet us in the lobby," Ken informed her.

That's great to hear!" Annie said excitedly. "I'll be ready. Thanks for setting it up, Ken."

"No problem, Annie. I'll see you tomorrow morning," Ken replied.

"See you then. Good night, Ken," Annie said warmly.

"Good night, Annie," Ken responded, smiling as he ended the call.

As Ken prepared for bed, he felt a sense of anticipation. Tomorrow's meeting was crucial, not just for the project, but for his burgeoning feelings toward Annie. Though he wasn't ready to confess his love yet, he was content to stand by her side, supporting her in every way he could.

The next morning, Ken arrived at the hotel a bit early, eager to ensure everything was perfect. Shortly after, Annie arrived, looking as professional and composed as ever. Ken felt his heart skip a beat at the sight of her but quickly refocused on the task at hand.

"Ready?" he asked with a smile.

"Absolutely," Annie replied, her eyes sparkling with determination.

Together, they walked into the lobby, where Simon and Mrs. Laude were waiting.

After brief introductions and pleasantries, Simon led them to one of the hotel's event rooms. The space was empty except for a few chairs and a large, clear area in the center where Annie planned to unveil the 4D house plan.

Annie and Ken set up the equipment quickly, and soon the 4D house plan began to materialize in the middle of the room. The entire house appeared, floating/ standing in mid-air, as if it had already been built. Every detail, from the exterior walls to the interior furnishings, was visible. It was a breathtaking sight.

Mrs. Laude gasped, her eyes wide with astonishment. "Wow! This is the first time I've seen a plan like this. It's like the real thing! I love it, Annie. You've impressed me."

Annie smiled, feeling a rush of pride. "Thank you, Mrs. Laude. I'm glad you like it. And just to let you know, you can enter the plan as well. It's designed to let you walk through the house, so you can experience how it feels inside."

Really, Annie?" Mrs. Laude asked, her excitement palpable.

"Yes," Annie confirmed, demonstrating how to navigate through the 4D environment.

Mrs. Laude stepped forward, hesitantly at first, but as she moved through the virtual house, her amazement grew. "This is incredible," she said, turning to hug Annie in appreciation. "Thank you so much."

Simon, standing nearby, was equally impressed. "Annie, you're so impressive with this presentation. This is beyond what I expected."

Ken watched with a mixture of pride and admiration as Annie interacted with their clients. Her talent and dedication were shining through, making a profound impact. He was glad to be part of this moment, knowing that their collaboration had led to such a successful outcome.

As the presentation continued, Ken and Annie guided Mrs. Laude and Simon through the various rooms and features of the house. The clients' enthusiasm was contagious, and by the end of the session, everyone was in high spirits.

After the successful presentation, Mrs. Laude and Simon thanked Annie and Ken profusely. "This has been an amazing experience," Mrs. Laude said. "We can't wait to see the actual house built."

Annie nodded, feeling a deep sense of accomplishment. "We're excited too. Thank you for your trust in our work."

As they left the hotel, Ken and Annie walked side by side, their connection stronger than ever. The day had been a triumph, both professionally and personally, and Ken couldn't help but feel hopeful for the future. For now, he was content to enjoy their growing friendship, knowing that the right moment to confess his feelings would come in time.

Meanwhile, across the hotel lobby, Vina, a friend of Ken's ex-fiancée Serina, was sitting at a café table, sipping her coffee. As she glanced around, her eyes widened when she spotted Ken and Annie walking together, engaged in animated conversation. Intrigued, Vina immediately pulled out her phone and dialed Serina's number.

"Hey Serina, guess who I saw today?" Vina began, a hint of excitement in her voice.

"Who?" Serina answered, her tone indifferent.

"Ken," Vina said. "At the hotel."

Serina's interest piqued. "Is he okay?"

"Yeah, he seems happy," Vina replied, watching Ken's easy smile as he talked to Annie. "And honestly, he looks more handsome than ever. But here's the kicker: he was with a woman. They seemed more than friends, if you know what I mean. And she's gorgeous."

Serina's mood shifted instantly, a flare of jealousy igniting within her. "What? Prettier than me?" she snapped, her voice rising.

Vina, taken aback by the intensity of Serina's reaction, tried to soothe her. "Girl, calm down. You're already separated. Besides, you have your boyfriend now. Let Ken be happy."

But Serina wasn't placated. The thought of Ken with someone else, someone possibly better than her, gnawed at her. "I don't care," she retorted, the jealousy clear in her voice.

Vina sighed, realizing the conversation was going nowhere productive. "Look, Serina, it's been a while. Maybe it's time to move on. For both of you."

Serina didn't respond. She was too busy envisioning Ken with this new woman, the jealousy gnawing at her insides. With a frustrated huff, she hung up the phone, leaving Vina staring at the screen in exasperation.

Serina paced her living room, her mind racing. She knew she had no right to feel this way—she was the one who had ended things with Ken and she's the one who cheat before they got married.Yet the thought of him moving on, finding happiness with someone else, was unbearable. She couldn't shake the image of Ken with another woman, a woman who Vina claimed was gorgeous.

She tried to push the jealousy aside, reminding herself of her current boyfriend and the life she chose. But the feelings of anger and envy refused to be easily dismissed.

Meanwhile, back at the hotel, Ken and Annie were oblivious to the drama unfolding elsewhere. They were focused on their work, buoyed by the success of their presentation and the excitement of their future projects. Their bond, forged through collaboration and shared goals, continued to grow stronger, untainted by the shadows of the past.
