As it turns out, you can't just show up at midnight to get married. You need a wedding license and the chapel to actually be open. Who knew even Vegas had rules? So the next morning Maria and I stood in the foyer of A Little White Chapel, her hand holding mine. I looked down at the bouquet of flowers the lady behind the front desk had handed me, Will had splashed out on some extras by the looks of things.
"You're sure this is how you want to do this?" She gave my hand a squeeze.
"Are you kidding? I get to marry him twice, I'm absolutely positive" I squeezed her hand back with a smile. "I just want to be his Wife."
"Well in that case, you'll need these!"
She handed me a photo of the both of us from our teenage years. "Something old."
"Something new" she held out a tiny bottle of hand lotion from our hotel.
She unclasped her tennis bracelet and secured it around my wrist, alongside the bracelet Will gave me of his. "Something borrowed"
"And something blue" a baby blue scrunchie hung from her finger.I simply nodded as I took it all from her, trying not to crack. Stowing the hand lotion and scrunchie in my bra and slotting the photo into my bouquet of flowers.
"Thank you" I whispered.
My name was called by the lady behind the desk "they're ready for you darlin'. Good luck!" She gave me a sweet smile as we made our way to the doors.
Arm in arm with Maria we walked down the aisle, my heart was hammering against my ribcage. This was actually happening, without an Elvis in sight. We reached the altar and she placed my hand into Will's
"Who gives this woman away to be married?" The officiant asked.
"I do." Maria sniffled. "You take good care of her! She was my Wife first!" She huffed a laugh, her eyes twinkling with tears as she gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"I'll make you proud." Will nodded at her.
We stood hand in hand facing each other as the officiant began the ceremony. We didn't take our eyes off each other for a second, ignoring the camera flashes, not even glancing at the officiant as she said our vows we needed to repeat.
"Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded Husband?"
I nodded eagerly "I do"
"And do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded Wife?"
"Fuck yeah, I do!" He grinned.
"Then I now pronounce you Husband and Wife. You may kiss your Bride!"
Will's hands cupped my face as he leaned in kissing me gently. He dipped me, deepening the kiss. My hand held the back of his neck.
His lips hovered over mine "I love you, so much"
"I love you too" he lifted me upright again.
We turned to our friends "she's my Wife!" He laughed heartily, pointing at me.
"Yeah she is!" Oli stood up clapping and everyone else joined in as we walked down the aisle together.

I couldn't stop looking at my left hand as we sat in a small diner having our Wedding brunch, a small silver band now sat above my engagement ring.
"We'll have to start calling you Sonic the hedgehog." Danny stated while looking at me. I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "The amount of rings you've collected in the past year is no joke."
"That was fucking terrible" Adam shook his head, picking at his pancakes.
"That's not even her proper wedding ring either" Will declared before taking a bite of a strawberry.
