With Enid: In one word. Chaos.

Two whole days had passed since everything had happened. Two days since Enid had really slept or eaten anything of substance. It had been two days since Enid had wolfed out the night of the blood moon, risked her life, and woken up in a whole new world. Two days since Wednesday had been forcefully taken away by Sheriff Galpin.

So much had happened in just two days. Nothing was right. Enid's downward spiral started with one broken promise. Deputy Santiago had promised Enid that everything would be ok. Nothing was ok.

Santiago promised that Wednesday would be right back safe and sound. They just wanted to ask her some questions. She had promised to keep her in one piece. She had promised to bring her back herself if need be. Santiago had promised.

Enid never should have listened. She never should have trusted deputy Santiago. She never should have let them take Wednesday away. She should have fought harder for her. Enid had taken on a Hyde and won. What were two normie cops to a wolf like her? She could have destroyed them easily. At the very least she should have gone with them. She had promised to protect Wednesday. Enid had also promised she would make the call to Wednesday's parents. She kept that stupid promise. The easy one. Maybe she shouldn't have. Thing probably could have made that call. Had Wednesday been trying to protect her by making her stay? Maybe, but it didn't matter. Enid had still been mentally kicking herself for the last two days.

Enid paced the room incessantly glancing at Wednesday's empty side of the room. All of her belongings had been packed up and shipped out when she had been expelled. Wednesday was never meant to come back to Nevermore that night or ever, but she had anyway. She risked her life anyway. Enid's wolf could still smell her. Wednesday's scent in the room was the only thing keeping her even remotely grounded.

It finally struck Enid mid pace. This was more than friend. More than even best friend territory. She had real feelings for her roommate. She was in love with Wednesday Addams. Like real love. She had been for a while now. Maybe since the very second she walked into their shared room. And that message that Wednesday had been trying to convey that morning before she left for the train. She was in love with Enid too. That was her way of confessing. Shit! Now the hug, the vulnerability, the closeness...the kiss on the cheek, and the promise to talk. It all finally made sense. Enid shifting for the first time because Wednesday was in trouble. God damn it! All that time worrying about finding a mate. All that time spent with someone else, and talking to Wednesday about Ajax. Her wolf had chosen despite it all. Enid broke down sobbing.

Enid was a mess. Her nails were chipped, her hair un brushed. Her anxiety had been through the roof. She had a few panic attacks. Not even Thing had come back. She had had no word. Not even a note. She had no idea what was going on. It was literally driving her insane. Wednesday had given her word she would come back and they would talk. She gave her word. To an Addams their word was everything. Wednesday had promised to come back. She hadn't. It didn't make sense.

Now campus was closed. No students were allowed off for any reason, and no one was allowed on unless they were parents picking up their students. Still that would never have stopped Wednesday before. Something had to be wrong. Wednesday would never just abandon Enid.

Enid had tried to leave campus. Right after they hauled Wednesday away. She tried several times to sneak off campus there after. She was determined to make it to the sheriff's office. She had to find Wednesday, but she was stopped every time by a four pack of outcast hating rookies cops at the gate with more officers in the woods. She had threatened to end them all more than once but when guns were drawn Enid backed down. She really didn't want to hurt anyone anyway. Enid couldn't find Wednesday if she were dead.
