With the Addams Family:

There was a curt knock on the Addams family door. Two women huddled together against the cold New Jersey winter. They whispered back and forth waiting for the door to open. "Babe, are you sure about this?" One asked. "Absolutely. They need to know. The sooner the better. It's nothing they would have suspected. To be honest, I was shocked myself. Aren't you?" The other replied. "Yes I am. But are you sure sure?" She was questioned. "Yes. Without a doubt. After the initial urine positive, I ran the test again myself. I ran it four times love. Then I ran it again with blood. Twice. I left no room for doubt or error." She added. "Is that why I'm here? You suspect trauma." The first woman asked. Dr. Grimm nodded. "Yes unfortunately I do. Morgan, we've known Wednesday her whole life. It fits. It explains everything. But even if not, she's still suffering emotionally after the attack on the school. I witnessed it first hand." Felicia stated. "It does hun, I agree, but we shouldn't jump to conclusions. Wednesday is one of the toughest people I know. Besides, she's a teenager now. She may have changed. And you see how her parents are." Her partner replied. "Morgan, Wednesday has better sense than most adults I know. I saw a bite mark and pretty severe bruising and during the exam. It's difficult to get that hurt consensually. Even for an Addams. There were healing scratches and bruising consistent with...you know. Now this." Dr. Grimm held up a folded piece of paper arguing with her partner.

Felicia Grimm moved to raise her hand to knock again when it opened suddenly. Gomez Addams stood staring at the two women before him confusion etched on his face. "Felicia, and Morgan? To what do we owe the pleasure?" He asked. "I believe I've found the answer to the questions you've had concerning Wednesday." The doctor replied. "The tests have come back already then?" He questioned. Felicia Grimm nodded. "Is it that dire this couldn't wait? It's that bad isn't it? That's why Morgan is here too? To help the family through devastating the news. You heal the body. She heals the mind." Gomez blanched. His eyes began to water. "She's dying isn't she? My poor little viper. Slipping so young through the grasp of life before our very eyes." He turned into the house. "Tish!" He yelled. He turned back to the two doctors. "Come in. Please."He stated.

Gomez walked the doctors to the sitting room. "Would you like something hot to drink?" He asked. "Tea please. If you wouldn't mind." Felicia answered. Morgan nodded. "I'll put the kettle on." Gomez replied. Morticia appeared out of breath behind him removing her gardening gloves. "Gomez darling what is it?" She asked embracing him. He indicated the doctors. Morticia's eyes widened her breath hitched. "Felicia, Morgan. I feel it's a safe assumption that you found something. It can't be good news if you're here so soon." Morticia sounded nervous. "Can we sit?" Felicia asked. Morticia nodded "of course." She gave a small smile.

Gomez went into the kitchen while Morticia joined her friends. She sat in a tall wingback chair while they sat on the sofa. "Please Felicia, is my daughter dying?" Felicia shook her head no. Morticia let out a sigh of relief. "Is she alright then?" She asked. Dr. Grimm pursed her lips trying to decide how to proceed. "Morticia, let me assure you the news could be much worse. I would say it's neither particularly good nor is it particularly bad. It will be a shock. Trust me when I say I myself was very surprised." Felicia Grimm replied. "However, it could indicate a bigger problem though." Morgan added. Morticia looked at her friends. "Maybe I should just show you." Felicia took a folded piece of paper from her jacket pocket. She handed it to Morticia without a word. "Should I wait for Gomez?" She asked. Felicia shrugged anxiously. Morgan slipped her hand into her partner's for support.

Morticia unfolded the paper. Her eyes began to scan the page. She gasped. "How? How far along?" Morticia gulped. "Wednesday's hormone levels indicate about two weeks. It fits Tish. It explains most if not all of her symptoms, and possibly the nightmares as well." Felicia stated. "Do you suspect something happened the night of the attack on the school?" Morticia questioned. "We don't know. I think that's a question we need to ask Wednesday. It's not fair for us to speculate." Morgan said softly. "Is Wednesday here? I would like to talk to her about this." Morgan asked. Morticia shook her head no. "No. She...Wednesday left for San Francisco this afternoon. She went to make a confession of love to her roommate Enid. It turns out one of the curses was at play as well." Morticia clarified. "Oh my. I see. That poor girl. Do you ah, when do you expect her to return?" Dr. Grimm asked. Morticia looked sad for a moment. "She should be returning shortly. Unfortunately it did not go as planned." Morticia's heart ached for her daughter. First rejection and now this. She had been through so much recently with the attack. "Morticia excuse my bluntness you mentioned her roommate, but is Wednesday seeing anyone else? Is she sexually active?" Morgan Grimm asked. "I honestly don't know. I'm sure she wasn't seeing anyone. There were a few boys, she spoke with, but I believe they were just friends. As for having sex, that is most definitely not something Wednesday would admit to me even if she were." Morticia replied softly.
