With Enid like an hour time skip from the last chapter.

After a full fledged panic attack Enid paced around the kitchen in front of the large glass doors that led to the back yard mumbling to herself. Her sneakers squeaking on the polished wood floor as she abruptly turned. To the two figures leaning unfazed against the green stone counter tops. "How? Just how? Why? What the f? I know. Shit I've got it. I died . I had a stroke or an aneurysm in my sleep and I'm in heaven? No hell? Maybe both. No wait. I had a serve nervous breakdown. I lost my mind and I'm in an institution somewhere. Or, I'm like super sick. This is all a fever dream. It has to be something like that. None of this is real. It just can't be. Yoko isn't really here. I'm not really here. This house is too good to be true. My new job is too perfect. I can't believe it. I wished on every shooting star, 1010, 1111, and 1212 for like five fricken years. I tossed pennies in fountains. I dreamed about something like this happening. I did everything I could, but I never thought it would like actually happen." Enid put her face her hands. She want back to pacing and mumbling to herself.

"Is she going to be okay?" Celeste asked Yoko. Her blonde wolf cut bobbing slightly as she shook her head. Yoko shrugged. "Probably. I mean she is my bestie, and it's hard to tell sometimes but I'm sure everything would be fine one she processes it fully." Yoko smirked. "So what's the big deal? Is she afraid of the chick or something?" Celeste's eyebrows were scrunched together. She was clearly confused by Enid's erratic behavior. "They have a history." Yoko stated simplifying the situation. "A history? Who? The scary, hot goth chick and the walking ball of nerves and sunshine over there?" Yoko nodded. "Really? What kind of history?" The realtor asked intrigued. "Oh!" She snapped her fingers. "Let me guess. Friends to lovers?" Yoko shook her head no. "Not exactly." She said. "Hhhmm. Enemies to lovers? Good vs. evil?" She slapped her hands on the counter animatedly. Yoko shook her head no again. "Please tell me. Please. This is too good." She grinned at the vampire across from her. "Well, if you're going to beg. I like my women on their knees." Yoko flirted. Celeste winked at the vampire. "Maybe next time. After a nice dinner or something along those lines." She winked again. Yoko grinned. "Fine. Actually, it's opposites attract obviously. With a dash enemies to friends to almost lovers. Unrequited love except they did both like each other. It just never seemed to work out. There was also a love triangle sort of, and there was forced proximity. They really were roommates." Yoko smirked. "Oh wow. Bro. No way! Could this be a second chance with a happy ending?!" Celeste smiled. Yoko shrugged again. "Maybe." Yoko teased.

"Yoko, what am I going to do? No matter what I've done, I still have feelings for her. I just never thought I'd see her again, now she's like literally my neighbor. What if we see each other? What if she's with someone else?" Enid whined. She and Yoko were spending the next couple of nights at a Hampton Inn a couple of miles away from their new house while they were shopping for the basic furnishings they needed and getting things set up. The room they were in wasn't fancy but it wasn't a flea bag motel either. "What? You say hi and move on. Or maybe, just maybe you tell her that you still love her you dork." Yoko smirked. "You know I can't just do that." Enid replied. Yoko rolled her eyes. "What am I going to do with you pup?" She huffed. Enid shrugged. "Hell if I know. Let me know if you figure it out." Enid scoffed.

Enid was sitting on her bed munching some pizza the pair picked up from the on-site restaurant. It was really good. Yoko was sipping at one of the last blood bags she had brought with her. "Seriously how am I going to live this close? What am I supposed to do? What am I supposed to say?! 'Howdy neighbor, remember me?'" Enid asked exasperatedly. "What if she wants nothing to do with me? How would I be able to live with that?" Enid huffed. "I don't know E. I don't. So walk up to her house. Ask to borrow a cup of sugar. If she doesn't instantly fall into your arms it's her loss." Yoko chuckled. Enid rolled her eyes. "Yoko I'm being serious. There's no way I'm not going to run into her somewhere. Its a small town. It's totally going to be awkward." Enid huffed. "Enid you should be fine. It's not like she's going to be frequenting the elementary school. What are the odds Wednesday Addams has a kid? If you do see her out either act like you don't know her or just walk away." Yoko teased. "Yoko!" Enid hissed. "Fine pup. Seriously. You want to know what I would do if it were me? I would skip all the boring shit. Skip the what if's. March right up to that damn house, barge in, find her, throw her on her bed or push her up against a wall and kiss the living fuck out of her until we're both out of breath. Then I'd make her scream my name multiple times in a row. After that, I'd get on my knees and confess everything. Then I'd waste no time and beg her to be mine for the rest of time. Simple." Yoko stated.
"It's not...I can't do that. It's Wednesday we're talking about. I want to...oh god yes I want to. If it were anyone else yeah, well maybe, but that's not her. She'd probably skin me alive. She would never go for something like that." Enid's nails involuntarily extended. She took a deep shaky breath and let it out pulling them back in. "People change Enid." Yoko looked almost apologetic. "I know." Enid replied softly.
