It was Enid's prep period all her students were supposed to be in music class, then they would go to lunch/recess. Enid was not on monitor duty today. She had nearly two hours before her students would be back in her classroom so she decided to stay at her desk to have her lunch. She ate, then looked over her lesson plan. She even graded a couple of the assignments her class did that morning putting little pumpkin and ghost stickers on those that did exceptionally well.

At some point Enid must have nodded off. She suddenly came to as a little voice whispered "Boo!" Emphatically into her ear. She jumped. Her fangs peeked out resting on her bottom lip, and her claws quickly extended. Enid turned abruptly with a snarl not fully understanding what was going on.

Ever stood wide eyed. Shaking slightly her breaths coming out in heavy gasps. Of course if someone were going to buck the rules and slip away from the class it would be Ever Addams. "Oh my gosh Ever! I'm so sorry." Enid said forcing her claws and fangs to rescind. The little girls stood looking at Enid. The slight fear that graced her face slipping to confusion then to curiosity and awe. "Ms. Sinclair, you're an outcast?" She asked. "How do you know about outcasts? Well yes I am, but wow. Ok. Yup." Enid stammered. She was flustered and taken aback by the little girl. "Of course I do. I'm an Addams." Ever replied. "Makes sense." Enid huffed. "Is it rude to ask what kind?" Ever asked shyly. "Not at all. I'm a werewolf." Enid replied proudly. "Cool, can I see?" Ever asked. "Um well, no. Ever, I can't really shift into my wolf form here at school." Enid smirked. "Can I see the parts from before? Your teeth and your nails?" She asked quietly.

Enid nodded slowly allowing her claws and fangs to slip out. Ever let out a small gasp. Her eyes grew big as she started to examine Enid. "Fascinating." The little girl stated while lifting Enid's lip. "Where do they go if the aren't out?" Ever asked. "Into the muscular structure in my hands and jaw." Enid clarified. "Can you make them come out whenever you want?" Ever asked in awe. Enid nodded. She flicked her claws in and out again. Ever backed away slightly. "You aren't afraid of me now are you?" Enid asked concerned. Ever shook her head no. "I just know to be careful." She stated. Enid smiled. She heard another teacher in the hall calling Ever's name.

"Can I see your wolf one day Ms. Sinclair?" Ever asked. Enid nodded yes. Ever beamed. "Ever, it's very important that you don't tell anyone about me. You know what can happen right?" The little girl shook her head. She grimaced. "Don't worry I won't Ms. Sinclair. Your secrete's safe with me." She smiled warmly at Enid. Enid's breath caught her mind wandering to a similar conversation she once had with Wednesday. She teared up slightly.

"Come on, let's get you back to where you're supposed to be." Enid said taking Ever's hand and leading her back to her music class.
