'I once poison ivy, but, now I'm your daisy'
We made it back to the castle.
All my high spirits about being a Harpie were pretty much gone as I was snapped back to reality.
My friends house was just blew up, and anyways, a war was coming, and there's no way I'd make it out alive. When would I get a chance to play quidditch?
I had told Hermione about my situation, and she was happy for me. She was miserable about the Burrow, of course.
I walked into DADA with Hermione, speeding eagerly to my seat. He was there. I wasn't wearing my necklace.
I set down my books and sat in my seat.
"Did you know?" I snapped quietly, turning my head to him. He looked up confused.
"What?" He asked.
"Don't give me that. Did you know?"
"Did I know what?" He asked.
"Did you know about your aunt and the wolf?" I whispered into his ear.
"What? No, what are you talking about? Greyback?" He hissed. I could see Harry staring at us with a questionable look. We made eye contact and he raised his eyebrow. I shrugged.
"They blew up the Weasley's house," I whispered.
"What? N-no. I didn't know. If I did I would've warned you," He spoke softly. He scanned me for injuries, "Are you hurt?"
"Yeah, right. I'm fine," I muttered, looking away from him.
"You'd really think I'd put you in danger knowingly? You must be fucking insane," He hissed quietly.
"Don't act like this isn't something you'd do."
"Aurora, I would never put you in danger. The rest of them I couldn't care less about. But you? Never," He whispered. I'm supposed to be mad at you.
I rolled my eyes and huffed.
Snape walked in.
Class had ended. He talked about our projects and how well we did and how well some others didn't....
"It's so easy for them to get to you," Hermione said. Harry, her, and I were walking in the halls, "You're bloody lucky you two weren't killed. You have to realize who you are."
"I know who I am, Hermione, alright?" Harry snapped, "Sorry."
"So tell me what Arthur said," Hermione beckoned.
Not this again.
"If Dumbledore is traveling, then it's news to the Ministry. But, what about this? That night at Borgin and Burkes, Draco was looking at a Vanishing Cabinet," Harry said.
"What would Draco want with a Vanishing Cabinet?" Hermione asked.
"Exactly," I muttered. Whatever he did needed with it I didn't dare ask. He'd flip out. Which he hasn't done in a while. We'll fight soon enough. I've been walking on eggshells around him trying not to get him upset. I haven't brought anything up. What we are, relationship-wise I guess, his task, his health. Nothing. I'm shocked me yelling at him earlier didn't get him that angry.
