Ryloth Part 2

"We need your help," a voice stated flatly from our communicator.

Omega was very interested, even more so when she discovered that it was Hera Syndulla. 

"I need your help," she whispered through the communicator, "we made a mistake, my father is in prison, and I am all alone. Please, come back to Ryloth. I'll give you the location, I need you guys."

Without waiting for another word, she left, leaving all of us in stunned silence.

"What should we do?" I asked, curious of what everyone would want to do; I already knew we were going back.

"We have to help her," Omega insisted, "and her parents."

Hunter and Echo exchanged a worried glance, "it's risky, Omega, Ryloth has the empire all over it, and it was always a war-torn planet."

Omega shook her head, "but, what if something happens to her? She's my friend, Hunter!"

Hunter sighed, but Wrecker cut him off, "if I get to blow something up, I think we should go. The kid needs our help!"

Hunter looked to Tech, who was already plotting a course back to Ryloth. I moved to the copilot seat with Echo standing next to me as we flew to Ryloth.

"How should we do this?" I asked aloud, pressing some buttons to steady out our ship.

Hunter massaged his chin, "I'm not quite sure yet. We'll wait until we get closer to determine what to do. We need to see what our options would be, and survey the area."

I nodded, "probably a good idea, it's been a while since I've been on Ryloth."

Tech, once again, turned towards me with a serious look, "and what are the details of your previous encounter with Ryloth?"

"I-uh... well, I remember there being a war... I was with general Kenobi... hey, I told you this already," I shook my head at him and gave him an unamused frown.

He flicked his head towards me, "I know, I just wondered if you had conveniently knew more information now."

"This isn't a movie, Tech," I gave him a scandalized look, "and how dare you accuse me of hiding information from you!"

There was a small smile on his face as the rest of the team gave a little chuckle.
Omega moved up to me and watched as we exited Hyper Space. Soon, we were within the range of Ryloth, and orbiting the planet slowly.
Tech began pulling up schematics of the surface as we slowly descended into the upper atmosphere of the planet.

"There is a large concentration of imperials here, and there appears to be some sort of imperial refinery here," Tech pointed to various places on the map, "it is most likely the case that Hera Syndulla and her parents are in this area. Along with our supplier from earlier."

"Perfect," I smiled, "now that we have the lay of the land, what is the plan?"

"We can't just go in guns blazing, we could hurt the civilians." Hunter started, "and the refinery could be a dangerous target. That could easily make this whole rescue missing go south."

I nodded, "true, but it could also help us liberate this whole planet from the empire."

"We're just trying to rescue one family, y/n." Hunter shook his head, "this could be an unnecessary risk."

Meaning: Hunter was worried about Omega getting hurt. Again.

"Hunter, don't get your hair in a twist, don't worry about Omega, she can take care of herself." I replied smugly, "besides, we could use the destruction of the refinery as a distraction."
