We sat on the beach chairs and watched as they all ran around on the beach playing tag "so what is it you meant" I glanced at Oikawa and sighed and looked back st Kenma and Hinata playing tag
"When I was little I use to be neighbors to Sho, this was before I became friends with Kenma"
I sighed as I leaned back in the chair
"I noticed that he was so small but still loved volleyball so I would have him over often to help him learn volleyball but I would occasionally hear his dad yelling which was followed by crying"
I glanced at Oikawa and saw that he watching me along with Kentaro
"When Sho first showed me that incredible jump he had his shirt would go up and when I did I noticed a few bruises but I couldn't say anything because we weren't close at all so I wanted to become closer to him and I did"
I looked back at Sho and saw his big smile
"Once we did close he would tell me that his dad wasn't nice and I thought he meant like he was strict"
With a sigh I looked at the sky
"Oh how wrong I was, once day Shoyo escaped his house and came over to mine crying as he was covered in bruises and had blood on him as he cried while holding his new baby sister telling me his dad was trying to hurt his mom because she tried to protect him"
I watched as Kenma and Sho started to splash each other
"Of course I brought them in and helped them as my mom called the cops and after the whole was over his mom didn't have his dad charged because she loved him and I saw how scared Sho was so I asked my mom to convince his mom to leave the asshole"
With a deep breath I looked down at my lap
"It took a long time, months to be exact but I think what pushed her into him was she saw Shoyo using himself as a shield to protect Natsu because she wouldn't stop crying and it turns out she was crying because their dad didn't change her diaper at all the entire day or even fed her which Sho was trying to feed her himself"
I stopped talking and looked at the 2 alphas as they showed shock and anger "you mean" I nodded as we all turned and looked at Shoyo "that's my version of everything and the short version to" I grabbed my drink and sipped on it
"Ever since he's started to call me brother"
