'I can't push you out of the teleport, so I'll give you a way out.

Convince Mystery Girl to your side.

Yours,
The third stranger'

I read the letter with Sahil by my side. It mentioned mystery girl. I was unaware if we could share information of her to the people who know about it or not. And if it was true, I would be dead in a blink of an eye.

We looked at each other in silence and eyes wide open, as if it were to pop out at any moment. Slowly and gently, my eyes closed. I had fainted.

When I woke up, I felt something behind my shoulder and behind my knees. The warm hands of someone who held me firmly, while my foot touched the floor.

I opened my eyes to see the face I had never expected to see. It was Sahil. His disclaimer and his couple of reasons of why he'd never pick me rushed through my mind. Till then a thin voice said,
"I think she lost a lot of blood."

We agreed. Sheetal then put the turmeric paste on my wound as the letters' words kept reverberating in my head.

I smirked at Sahil. I got a bored face as a reaction, but the eyes seemed to be worried. I believed the eyes, and my lips curved to a genuine smile, another instance where he cared for me.
His bored look changed as he saw me smile. He turned away his face, probably to hide the little red hue formed on his cheeks. Eyes don't lie, and I believed it.

My smile didn't last long, the letter flashing in my mind as the smile faded. I didn't feel the burn on my upper right arm anymore, Mystery Girl haunted me more than it.

Till then, the parrot came again. But this time he was not blank faced, but scared. Scared of someone noticing him. He again didn't say anything, but his eyes knew a dark truth, which he wished to show with the diary he held between his claws. Sahil attended him till Sheetal finished applying the paste. I asked,

"Do you hear something in that direction?"

"Hm? It might be the crickets."

"Should I check it once?"

"Okay, but be careful about the wound. I know Sahil will save you, but still, be cautious of snakes."

"Yeah-... Okay."

'Sahil will save you...'
I smiled at the statement as I headed out.

Sahil was reading a diary that was written completely in Sanskrit. I realised that I still don't know much about Sahil. He translated it for me.

"My stepmother. She's a very mysterious kind of a person. After mother-in-law died because of an incurable disease, Father-in-law fell in love with her and married her. So she became my stepmother. After so long, I found out that she had enchanted, magical ornaments. The magical bangle was the most mesmerizing thing I ever saw in my life, a silver one with two peacocks, in which I saw me and my beloved. So I turned the "Mesmerizing Bangle" into "The Stolen Mesmerizing Bangle." I grabbed the bangle from Mrs. Avantika.
She didn't say a thing, because she felt betrayed about what her son and daughter-in-law did to her. Her lips widened, her eyes wet. When her shivering hand tried to stop me, I had no option but to push her down the well.
You know, I love to be powerful. I can do anything for it.
~Sharadhini"

As Sahil took the name, silence struck his face. He gasped, his eyeballs vibrating, thinking about the disaster that had just hit him.
"Who is Sharadhini? Why did you stop?"

"She is-... T-... The-..."

"Why are you stammering?"

"Wife... of the Elder Prince."

The silence that was on Sahil's face now struck me too. My mouth were apart, but not a single word came out of it. The parrot had brought the diary of the Elder Prince's wife. Sahil then read the little part that was left at the end of the page.

"She took away the power that I love, my happiness, the kingdom from me. My sorrow will take away all the powers that she has, at all costs. This sorrow never belonged to me, but now it's mine, and I'll betray it. The power belongs to me, and I won't let an outsider take it. Let the event of, 'The Queen Of The Ruckus' begin.
HAIL TO THE KING AND QUEEN OF THE RUCKUS!"

The note was written in fresh ink. I then asked him to read the other notes, but he said that it was only related to her husband, about how much she loved him. He was the most precious thing she ever had in her life.

"Why did she then lure her husband to start a war?"

"Maybe for powers, or maybe because she loved her husband so much that she couldn't see him suffering."

Sahil was satisfied with my answer.
"Did it mean that the Queen of the Queendom, Mrs. Avantika was pushed down the well?"

"The fresh ink says it's true."

We both went on a silence vow.

Avantika is dead...

And people will see fear in it's true form...

It was already darker than the evening. I heard the crickets wavering, the people snoring, the trees shivering in the cold night. The winds blew with dust in them, like a robber taking away wealth in his bag. I could hear the soft voice of the metals rumbling like thunder. They got louder at every moment.

Battles between kingdoms take place in a battlefield, but what if, the enemy kingdom was just a power up, but the main battle was within a single kingdom itself? What if it was internal?

At such times, the kingdom itself becomes a battlefield...

•••••

The Queen is dead...

People of the Queendom will now face true fear...
