I wrapped a dupatta on my face, my eyes open. I gazed back at the house once, smiling. I didn't know when I was returning back, and I didn't even know if I would like coming back or forget this place forever. It all depends on how this war turned out. My feet felt heavy, like I had a huge burden on my head.

As I was walking, I saw an enemy soldier running towards me, eyes and mouth open indicating the 'hunger of winning.'
"HYAAAH!!"

I took a sharp breath in. A random enemy appearing in front of me, and for a spit second, I knew the sword was going to cut my leg off my body. I didn't have any weapon, which left me a lone option, run off. Me, trying to attack or defend him was similar to a baby using a weapon. My legs moved back, trying to run in the backward direction when I saw a shadow hop in front of me. The soldier's eyes were left vibrating. His body was left in the air, blood escaping his mouth.

My eyes flung wide open, as I looked at another sword, that pierced through his stomach. His legs couldn't reach the ground. They moved for a while, struggling, until life left his body, little by little. Gradually, the lifeless body fell over the ground.

A figure stood in front of me, the killer, who faced the fallen soldier. He turned back to face me. His terrifying eyes instantly turned sweet, like the terrifying eyes belonged to a complete different person. He said politely and respectfully,
"I suggest you not to stay outdoors ma'am."

"S-..."

"The enemy are demons who don't hesitate to capture women. I request you to find a safe place for yourself. Let's go, charioter."

He climbed up on his chariot and left. I realized, that the son of the Army Commander was on the Queendom's side, just like his father. He saved his Queendom, his own people. He was a ray of hope for the people. My eyes then stumbled upon his father. The battle was between the Army Commander and the Elder Prince.

"I have failed to teach you, Prince. I have come here to repent for my sins and teach you the correct lesson!"

As my savior had suggested, I hid in a house from where I could see the war. At the end, Nishant had chosen us thinking that we are tribal people and have skills for survival. But I never had any of the tribal skill. The only option left out was to hide. I wondered where was Sahil. I had a hint of worry that was owned by him. I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath, I tried to calm myself down from worrying too much about him.

"Emotions shouldn't be a part of war. They weaken a warrior. I've learned this from you, my guru."
This was the respectful reply of the elder Prince.

Arrows began to slice the air as they stood on their chariots shooting them. The speed of the arrows kept increasing. Some arrows had different designs which I didn't understand.

The previous day:
"Your Highness, we have received an Intel from a spy that the kingdom at the west has been planning for an attack."

Present day:
They then came down from their chariots and took their swords out.
"I don't wish to kill you, Prince."

"Fulfill your duty, I'll take my right."

The previous day:
"He's hiding something from me. I can clearly see it. Will I be there tomorrow? What do you think, Army Commander?"

"It's important for you to be there, your highness. You are the highest one here, the Queen."

"Not the importance, it's the reality that should be known."

Present day:
The metallic swords clash, bragging their sorority. A spark was ignited in between the swords, with which, both warriors were taken aback. I looked at the lifeless bodies of the innocent, who never knew the Queendom's internal politics. What was their fault?

The previous day:
"You will most probably be alone there, against your student."

"I don't wish that to happen, your highness."

"Sadly, the reality doesn't heed to anyone's wishes."

"Is he really doing this?"

"He fights for his rights. But doesn't understand that he is young to be a king. Not by body, but by mind."

"I don't mind working on my own, your highness. But, in such situations, orders should only be given by the King or the Queen."

"For that, I'll give you orders now itself.
Fight until ____ enters the war."

Today:
The sword left a cut on The Prince's arm. The battle goes on. Army commander tries to convince him to stop the war, but the Prince refuses every time.
He is eager now, for the throne, for his lost honour.

Till then, I heard shaky voice from behind me,
"M-... man in black."

"Who is he?"

"He-... stabbed me. How could he...? I was-... so cautious... He's on a too higher, level-... than all-... other warriors."

His eyes closed, but his shaky voice was now an echo in my mind.

The previous day:
"Your Highness, that's-... that's against the rule!"

"He won't be keeping rules here. In the war between the strongest, rules are often broken."

Today:
The Commander fell on his knees, the Prince pointing his sword at his neck. His eyes had grief, but only for the guilt of the sin he was going to commit. He wished to bid him goodbye with a smile, so he painfully curved his lips to form a small smile.
"I-... I'm sorry, my Guru."

He lifted his sword and scream loudly. But, his sword was stopped by another sword placed perpendicular to the Prince's sword.
It was the "Man in black."
