There were two guards posted affront our cell. They were one of the slug people and one of the blob guys.

"What's going to happen to us, Solstice?" I childishly asked, hoping for a definite answer.

"I don't know. But I will do everything in my power to protect you if they try anything dirty." She replied gravely. She curled back up and rested her face in her knees. I felt a bit of déjà vu when I saw her do this.

"Hey uncle Wind, I made this for you!" A squeaky voice caught my attention. I turned my head to see a ghostly blue and thin version of the blob people running up to one of the guards. She handed him a piece of paper.

"That's nice, Brianna." He said, taking it.

"It's Breezy. Do you like it?" She asked with wide, sparkling eyes.

"This'll make for good target practice! You're so thoughtful Brian."

"It's...Breezy." She answered brokenly.

"Of course it is. Go play with that strange Namekian boy." He dismissed the girl. She looked back at him in sorrow, then to me with a curious spark.

"Hello. Who are you?"

"I am Kuriza." Before we could talk anymore, the guards pushed her away.

For a while we just sat in the cell and did nothing. The guards would talk every now and then but not to us.

Breezy POV:

After meeting that bizarre alien boy locked in the cell, I reunited with my only other friend, Ocarina.

"Hey Ocarina, guess what!" I blurted excitedly as I sauntered in the room we shared.

"What?"

"I made a new friend today. But he looked sad being locked up in that cage and all."

"Locked up? Isn't there a reason he's locked up?"

"Maybe. But he's just a kid! Kids can't be that dangerous."

"Please don't tell me what I think you're telling me."

"I was thinking. Why don't we bust him out? Just for a bit? Then if he's evil, we send him right back." Ocarina's face alone told me he wanted nothing to do with my idea.

"No. Way. I'm not doing this again. Remember last time?"

"NoPe." I said, popping the P. "Besides, no one on this forsaken vessel even notices us unless they need chores done or something like that."

"Fine. If I help you, you owe me."

"Deal. Here's the plan." I whispered in his pointy ear.

Kuriza POV:

I was diligently grooming my tail when I caught a glimpse of that girl from before running down the halls. Not long after she vanished from sight, a bone chilling cry for help erupted in the direction she went. Then a smaller grey slug person dashed over to her, then toward the guards.

"Come quick! She broke her leg!" He summoned the guards in front of our cell. They immediately ran her way to check on the scene. Meanwhile the slug man started picking at the lock with his sharp purple nails.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Trust me." He simply replied. The lock clicked open and I went to tell Solstice. We followed the slug down the corridors, hiding from guards when we had to. At last we reached a safe spot, hidden away from view.

"Thanks for the help, slug man junior." I smiled as I caught my breath.

"My name is Ocarina. And you're welcome." Solstice and I stiffened when we detected the pounding of footsteps coming our way. When the girl from before appeared, we exhaled in relief.

"So you made some new friends, huh Kuriza?" Solstice teased. I pretended not to hear her. Of course I didn't! I don't even know them!

"Okay, I see you've met Ocarina. He's a pretty shy Namekian who is fierce with a sword." The girl started, making Ocarina flush a little and look away to hide it. "And I'm Breezy. I'm what's called a 'Majin'. And what are you two? Space Lizards?" I looked up and noticed Solstice twitching.

"We aren't space lizards. We're Frost Demons. We are a misunderstood people and I'm on a mission to correct that. And Kuriza here is the descendant of the Cold family. He is royalty." Solstice responded.

"Royalty?" The two both stared in awe at me and Solstice. I could literally see stars in their eyes.

"Yes, royalty. And we're also on a quest for these things called 'Dragon Balls'. Heard of them?" Solstice replied, simmering down from the unintended insult.

"Those are on the new Saiyan planet! This ship patrols around there." Ocarina stated.

"Do you two wish to join us on our journey? You don't seem prosperous here on this ship anyway." I asked.

"We do need to build up our squadron, after all." Solstice agreed with me. Breezy and Ocarina glanced at each other quizzically.

"Well.." Breezy trailed off.

"We can help you out if you need it but we don't really know if we should. We could get punished if Lord Blow discovers us, and besides that, we barely know you. I guess we could." Ocarina finished.

"Good enough!" I reassured them. "But how do we get off this ship anyway?"

"You don't." Ocarina answered seriously.

"Ha ha ha, good one!" Breezy faked a laugh and elbowed Ocarina. "He's such a joker! But really. The way to get off this ship is easy. We can use an escape pod at the farthest end of the vessel. I hope we can all fit in it though."

"Lead the way, Breezy." I gestured her to move on.

I couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to happen. Something bad.
