Solstice POV:
"Wh-where am I? Kuriza?!" I called out in my frenzied panic. I wasn't in the woods where I last remembered being. I was in a dark, scorching hot, destitute land, only lit by some occasional bursts of flames from the rugged rocky turf.
"Welcome to Hell, you shameful display." I heard a voice laced in pure hatred greet me with forced enthusiasm. I turned my head to meet a peculiar pair of red eyes. They weren't like Kuriza's eyes though, these were much more satanic. A well timed ember revealed the rest of the speaker to me. It was him.
"Excuse me? I'm in Hell? But why? I did everything right!"
"You clearly must've done something wrong." Another voice joined in, this one much deeper and more refined. It had to be Cell, I assumed.
"Nothing comes to mind. I never killed anyone, I only took what I needed-"
"Did you need Dragon Balls ever in your life?" Frieza asked with hints of amusement from my misfortune.
"Oh. That must be why I'm here." I crossed my arms over my chest and sat on a boulder. "Well, time to make the best of it." I closed my eyes and tried to meditate.
"What is she doing?" Someone asked from behind me.
"Recoome thinks she's sleeping."
"We should wake her, don't you think?" An Australian accented voice replied.
"Don't look at me, Jeice. I'm not wasting my speed on that." The four voices entered an argument that broke my concentration.
"Enough! Let's all just man up and talk to her!" A new voice yelled at the others. Whoever it was yelling halted the argument and I resumed my meditation. "Ginyu Force! Assemble! Captain Ginyu! Haah!"
"Recoome! Tuu!"
"Burter!"
"Jeice! Hmf!"
"Guldo!"
"Would you five KNOCK IT OFF? I'm trying to focus!" I hissed with one eye open.
"So you weren't sleeping?" Ginyu inquired.
"No! I'm meditating to get stronger. It's something you should try. You know, quietly, over there. Away from me." Ginyu leered at Recoome as he and the rest of the Force stood in place. "Why didn't you leave?"
"Well, the Ginyu Force is an elite team. Having said that, you must know that we train in all sorts of ways! But meditation is a new one. We always thought it weak, so we never tried it."
"Your point?"
"I think the Captain's trying to say that we-"
"Silence Guldo!" Ginyu scorned the smallest green member.
"Hey, don't bully Guldo!" I glared at the purple man who was taken aback. He rubbed the back of his head nervously.
"My apologies for upsetting you-"
"Shut up, Ginyu. Now Guldo, what were you saying before being rudely interrupted?" The group just stared at me in surprise like I was something new to them and they didn't know what to do.
"Can you teach us the ways of meditation?"
"Sure! All you gotta do is find a nice spot..."
"What is this place coming to, Cell?"
"I haven't a clue anymore, Frieza."
"Well at least with her around, all the pests will flock to her and not to me."
"Wrong, little brother. I don't see you 'flocking' over to her."
"Oh ha ha. Real mature, Cooler."
"You two keep this up. I'm going to join the meditation class over there."
"Wait! Don't go! You're the only other sane one here."
"Ahem!"
"Besides you of course, father!"
"Frieza, Cooler, would it kill you to get just a taste of what Frost Demons are like now? I think you should join the, Cell, what did you call it?"
"Meditation class?"
"That. I might go myself in a minute."
"Yes father."
"Good boys. Now go."
"Now don't you all feel more powerful?" I cheerfully asked, glad that everybody joined in. Even one of the guards blocking the way out participated at his post.
"I feel like I wasted an hour of my existence."
"Cooler! Don't be rude!" His father scorned from behind him.
"Well, mister grumpy pants, this is only the first time. Over time, as you meditate, you'll see the difference." I leered at the somewhat familiar purple Frost Demon. His brother next to him snickered.
"And you- you're Frieza? The one who welcomed me here? Am I right?"
"Yes, I am Lord Frieza. Or I was, before those damned dirty monkeys sullied my reputation." Frieza claimed spitefully. I could almost taste the malice in his voice.
"You have no idea how long I was waiting to meet you in person."
"And why is that?" He asked in puzzlement.
"Because I heard of your tremendous strength and I want to spar with you."
"Do you really think-" His tone sounded like rejection.
"Just do it, little runt. What do you have to lose anyway?" Cooler surprisingly vouched for me. I flashed him a thankful smile and awaited Frieza's answer. The much older purple Frost Demon looked in the other direction, dismissing me completely. I didn't notice. I was too hyped up.
