??? POV:
There I stood, diligently sharpening my glorious horns against a boulder in my back yard. Not a care was given by me, until I felt a rock graze my foot.
"Alright, who has the big ones to throw rocks at the queen!?" I got no response but I heard a shuffling by another pile of rocks I have just because I like rocks.
"Woah!" A squeal sounded, followed by the sound of a rock pile falling over. I wasted no time in charging over to said pile. "Ouch." The intruder stood up and rubbed their head and leg.
"A kid?! What's a kid like you doing in my royal court?" I interrogated the much smaller, green, white, and cyan child. She peered up and met my emerald gaze. By that I mean my green eyes.
"I was just testing to see if I could balance on those rocks when I-"
"Before that. Why intrude in my home?"
"I was trying to get away from my older sister."
"Ah, the old sibling young sibling rivalry. Come inside. I want to hear your whole life story."
"That's odd."
"So is sneaking into someone's yard and standing on their rocks. Now follow."
"And I just don't know how I feel about him. Part of me thinks he's stealing my sister from me but the rest is kind of happy for her." The child explained to me, reclining on my sofa.
"I'm sure there's a reason for it all. But I'll tell you what. You interest me. Ever since those Freezer guard guys invaded my planet, I was forced into isolation. With that being said, I want you to come back every day and I'll help you keep your mind off them. But never tell them anything about me or that I even exist. If word leaks that I'm still kicking, those guards will have my horns and tail on a silver platter." The girl gave me a confused look. "I'll be slaughtered, or worse."
"Okay. I promise I'll be back. In return though, I want you to help me get stronger so I can beat up that guy if he tries anything with my sister."
"Hohohoh, I'm ecstatic to help you."
Since our chance meeting, that peculiar child visited every day, for hours on end. She delighted me with her loyalty again and again, so I showered her with praises and awarded her with what I promised. I trained her to death, some would say. But she never broke. I put her through almost endless vigorous trials and tests. Still she persevered. She was an excellent pupil and a fascinating character as well.
"Auroras, you are doing splendid! You're probably the finest student I've trained so far." I appraised her as she warmed up by repeatedly bench pressing my horn sharpening boulder.
"Thanks, Queen Rengoku! Eighty five, eighty six..."
"How about I stop you there and make a proposal?" Here it comes. My skin was itching for a fight, and I wouldn't let her leave until this itch was scratched and scratched well!
"Okay, what is it?" She asked, dropping the boulder to the side.
"I want to see the results of your hard work. I want you to fight me and not hold back."
"Are you sure about that? You're royalty, and I'm half your size, generously speaking."
"Both facts considered, yes! I want a good old fashioned beat down. Are you up for it?"
"I accept your challenge."
"Good." I grinned wickedly. It's been a long time since anyone could rival my strength. I believe it was that King Cold's boy that stood the greatest chance. Hopefully this would be better than that.
Solstice POV:
"Then she whipped me in the back with her tail. That thing was solid."
"But did you win?" Kuriza asked, wide eyed.
"I don't really remember what happened after that. But I'm sure once we revive her, we'll know."
"That story is rubbish! There's no way Cooler would be able to fight her!" Frieza burst in denial.
"Frieza, why can't you accept that Cooler has strengths and weaknesses just like you do?"
"My pride and ego would break. And I can't afford that to happen."
"Who else but Frieza?" I face-palmed.
"Freeza!" Aurora copied, surprising us all. All eyes shifted to her. "Freeza!" She pointed to him this time.
"Adorable. It seems the small one wants my attention." I rolled my eyes and reluctantly handed Aurora to him.
"I think she forgot you tried to CRUSH her!" Kuriza reminded bitterly, to no avail.
"Freeza." She giggled in his grip.
"Is it wrong that this is the longest time she's gone without scowling at someone?" I asked Kuriza.
"Very. If she likes him, then there's a problem. Nobody likes Frieza."
"I have a suggestion. You two go and search for Dragon Balls on whatever planet we crash into. I'll stay back and play babysitter." To humor him, we agreed.
"Don't trust him. There's something tricky going on with my father. Evil never plays good." Kuriza whispered to me.
"I know, but what?"
