The next morning, I awoke to the sound of my alarm. Knowing I had to work today at my remote job, I knew that I wouldn't be able to go out and explore Salt Lake with the guys until after five o'clock. Brushing out my teeth and hair, I still had an hour before I needed to be in front of my computer.

Seeing that it was only seven a.m., I then changed into a pair of leggings and a long flannel with some light eyeliner and mascara so that I didn't feel like I looked like a thumb. I wanted to be somewhat presentable, but when I was at home, I mainly wore a good shirt with some pajama pants and no makeup. Opening my laptop to boot it up for any new updates it might have, I then grabbed my purse and slung it over my shoulder, ensuring my keycard was still in my purse because I was notorious for forgetting things. When I opened my door, I heard quiet chatter between Zak, Nick, and Aaron. They were waiting on me. They all smiled at me when I poked my head out the door, failing to see the cookie that was on the floor in front of my door. "Um... Did you guys leave a cookie here?" I giggled.

"A cookie?" Nick arched his brow, his face turning red as Aaron began to chuckle.

"Don't let them gaslight you. They woke me up last night asking me if I wanted cookies." Zak sighed.

"Says the one who is an avid gaslighter." Nick teased.

"First of all, were you two really high and didn't invite me to have some fun with the Devil's Lettuce?" I giggled sarcastically, putting my hands on my hips.

"We don't smoke," Aaron laughed. "It was a long drive, and we get the before-sleep-zoomies."

"I can understand that," I nodded. "I'm surprised you guys are up this early."
