Zak

I sat at home waiting for my phone to ring, except this wasn't Tori I was expecting (though I wish), but from a realtor that I had been dealing with for the past couple of months, a part of my plan being involving mine and Tori's future. I want to be a part of Tori's world as much as she's been involved in mine, and the place I found here in Vegas was more than perfect for both mine and her lifestyle. This weekend was a big weekend for her, and her career was really about to take off, and the last thing I wanted to do was make it harder for her to keep working for me and for her passion. Though I didn't know how she was going to react, all I could do was hope.

My mom was also coming over too with excitement to see Tori as she said that she would be here later tonight, and hopefully, we wouldn't be four hours away anymore...

As if my phone rang on schedule, I didn't hesitate to answer on the first ring when Will called me, "Hey, Will, how are you doing?"

"I'm doing great, Zak! How are you?"

"Good. I'm hoping that you have some good news for me..."

"Oh, I do. The property I found fits all of your requests. I hate that it took me so long, but I believe I've found the perfect one."

"Let's hear it."

"It's on Maggie Avenue - right outside the city, but away from everyone. It's on a four acre lot and is already fenced in for horses. House has five bedrooms and two bathrooms with all necessities you'd need. Even has an arena, a round pen, barn, and it's a walking distance to riding trails in the Red Rock area."

"Awesome. That's the main thing I was worried about was having room for horses. What's the address? I'll pull it up and look at it."

"11875 Maggie Avenue (found on Zillow as public information)."

"Okay. Pulling it up now..." I sighed, typing the address into my search bar before seeing the link for it on my realtor's website. "Oh, this is perfect."

"I was hoping you'd say that!" He chuckled. "What do you think about the pricing?"

"It's cheaper than what I thought it was going to be for almost five private acres in Vegas." I answered. Honestly, less than $300k for that kind of property is a steal for a city like this...

"That it is. When would you like to come and look at it?"

I paused as I looked at the top corner of my laptop, seeing that it was only nine a.m., "I'm free until about six o'clock." I answered, remembering that Tori had told me that she was going to be leaving Utah around three p.m. to get to my house just before dark.

"I'm free until noon if you'd like to meet up before then?"

"Yeah, that'll be great. I'm waiting on my mom to come by, then we can head that way?"

"Works for me! If you get there before me, give me a call and I'll give you the key code to the door!"

"Sounds good. Thank you, man."

"Not a problem, buddy! I'll see you soon!"

When my mom finally arrived, I offered her something to drink while I filled her in on what I had been talking to my realtor about. "Does she know that you're planning to move?"

"No, but I was hoping that this could be a way of asking her to live with me..."

"Sweetheart, you're going to ask her to move in with you? That's great! I'm sure she'll say yes!"
