Tombstone, Arizona – the town too tough to die. The site of the O.K. Corral gunfight with the names Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp attracting thousands of tourists per year to walk the same ground as the famed gunslingers. This was my first time in this historic area, and not only was I excited to be in a historic town, but Tombstone is one of my favorite movies. So much so, it inspired the "say when" tattoo I had on the side of my hand.
We had just got into town, checking into our rooms at the Sagebrush Inn just two streets over from Tombstone's main street, all distraught and tired from our long drive, but it didn't stop me from wanting to explore the area before our big day tomorrow.
"Desperate to escape my presence?" Zak chuckled as my hand hovered over the doorknob that separated me from the evening Arizona air.
"No, I'm just excited to get out and look around." I blushed.
"We have a few nights here, sweetie. Are you hungry?"
"I can eat later, but we've been in the car for a long time, and I just wanted to get some air."
He chuckled, "I know. I was just kidding with you. We were going to go out and get something to eat after everybody settles in. We're doing reenactments tomorrow morning, so we need to get our outfits either tonight or early tomorrow."
