Marjorie walked downstairs to find Reece and Mia still sleeping. Marjorie walked past them to make some coffee, the only thing Marjorie can be trusted with in the kitchen.

"Thing 1 and Thing 2 are still sleeping. Bet you they have no idea what happened last night." Marjorie called Autumn.
"Oh for sure. Can't wait to use that video at Reeces 40th." Autumn laughed.
"Looks like they are slowly starting to wake up. I'll call you later." Marjorie peeked into the living room.
"Okay. Bye." Autumn said, hanging up the phone.

Marjorie walked back into the living room and sat at the coffee table.

"Good morning sunshines." Marjorie giggled.
"Good morning—" Reece started, he turned to face Mia. "What the fuck? What are you doing here?"
"Excuse me? What are you doing here?" Mia scoffed.
"I live here!" Reece shouted.
"Right. Oops." Mia laughed.
"Do you two seriously not remember anything last night?" Marjorie asked, trying not to laugh.

Reece and Mia both sat up. They looked at each other, and then looked back at Marjorie.

"We um, went to see some friends from uni and all I remember is that we came back here?" Reece said.
"Yeah, what he said." Mia laughed.
"Do you guys not remember what you said? Because it was pretty interesting." Marjorie said, trying to hide a smile.
"No?" Reece and Mia said at the same time.
"Well, for starters, Mia told me I was hot, and then Reece, you kept being like 'quit hitting on my girlfriend blah blah blah' and it kept going. You two even argued over who got the better blanket. I heard that from upstairs." Marjorie replied.
"I what?" Mia asked.
"She what?" Reece asked.
"Yes." Marjorie smirked.
"Well I mean, Reecey, I'm not wrong. Marjorie is a catch. She's hot." Mia winked at Marjorie.
"Seriously? Get your own girlfriend." Reece covered his face.
"I have one! I just can't be with her right now because she has her kids for the weekend." Mia sighed.
"Well, thank you Mia. Reece you also kept calling my name every five seconds." Marjorie blushed and pointed at Reece.
"Likely thing for him to do." Mia rolled her eyes and huffed.

Reece scoffed and looked over at Marjorie, who could barely contain her laughter.

"Do you not remember Autumn coming over? She sat next to me and helped me make fun of you guys." Marjorie asked.
"Aut saw us like this?" Reece asked.
"Yes— there was no way I was letting her miss this." Marjorie gestured.
"Were we drunk? We wouldn't do all of this drunk." Mia asked.
"We were fucking stoned!!" Reece shouted. "It was your idea! How do you not remember this?"
"Spare me. You also hardly remember anything." Mia shouted back.
"Do you two want coffee? It's in the kitchen." Marjorie interrupted.

The two nodded and got off the couch and headed to the kitchen. Marjorie followed.

"Mia do you want me to call Charlotte?" Marjorie asked, grabbing the creamer.
"Sure. I don't know where my phone is." Mia sighed.
"It's upstairs. I charged it for you." Marjorie smiled, leaving the kitchen to go call Charlotte.
"I can't believe you would say that about Marjorie." Reece sighed, stirring his coffee.
"Why? I understand what you see in her. We may not always see eye to eye, but no one can deny that she isn't attractive. Autumn even said so herself. I overheard their convo last night. The only thing I remember." Mia looked up at Reece.
"Great. First, my ex. Now my sister." Reece sighed. "But you're right. How did I get so lucky with her. She's breathtaking."

Mia nudged Reece and the two of them kept talking in the kitchen.

"She's fine, my love. She stayed here. You did miss out on them arguing over nothing. I'll see you soon." Marjorie hung up the phone.

Marjorie walked back into the kitchen to see Reece and Mia laughing.

"Sorry to interrupt, but Mia, Charlotte is on her way." Marjorie smiled.
"Thanks." Mia smiled back.

Mia left the kitchen to go get her things, and wait for Charlotte to come and collect her.

"How are you feeling?" Marjorie looked up at Reece.
"I'm good." Reece leaned down and kissed Marjorie. "Thanks for looking after us. I know we weren't the best behaved last night."
"It's no problem my love." Marjorie hugged Reece.

"Marjorie?" Charlotte called out.
"Coming!" Marjorie shouted.

Marjorie and Reece walked out of the kitchen and to the living room to find Charlotte talking to Mia.

"Oh, Charlotte before you go," Marjorie started.
"Yeah?" Charlotte said.
"Mia did hit on me twice." Marjorie laughed.
"Amelia Roberts!" Charlotte looked at Mia.
"What?? Don't act like you haven't said the same." Mia smirked.
"I— whatever. Thanks once again Marjorie for looking after her." Charlotte said, opening the door.
"Of course my love. Bye!" Marjorie said as she watched Charlotte and Mia walk out the door.

Marjorie sighed and rested her head on Reece.

"Are you tired? I can only imagine the hell we put you through." Reece rubbed Marjorie's arm.
"Yeah. You guys were actually peaceful once you were sleeping." Marjorie sighed.
"Well, go take a nap. I'll clean up." Reece kissed the top of Marjorie's head.
"Thanks my love." Marjorie smiled.
"Gorgeous, before you go, did I say anything to embarrass you?" Reece asked.
"No, you didn't embarrass me. Just yourself. You'll see at your 40th birthday party." Marjorie giggled and ran up the stairs.
"Oh okay—- wait what??" Reece asked.
"Nothing! I said nothing!" Marjorie yelled from upstairs.
