"I know my love. As a guy, there's not much you can do to help us get ready. In the future, I can teach you if you want. Start with basics." Marjorie said, kissing his head.
"Really? You would do that?" Reece sat up.
"Of course!" Marjorie smiled.
————————————————————————

"You sure this is a great idea?" Carly asked, opening the drawers to Marjorie's vanity.
"He asked me, so God I hope so." Marjorie giggled.

Marjorie had pulled out a product from each step of her makeup routine and set it on the top of the vanity. She laid them out in order, so Reece wouldn't get confused.

"Are you sure you want to be the test dummy? This is Reece we're talking about." Marjorie asked, raising her eyebrow.
"Yeah. Only because I want to see him fail miserably." Carly said, sitting at Marjorie's vanity.
"Okay, if you say so darling. I'll go get Reece." Marjorie said, walking out of the bedroom.

Marjorie walked downstairs to find Reece sitting on the couch, playing on his phone. Marjorie walked over to him and stood over him.

"Hey you." Reece looked up from his phone.
"Hello darling. You ready for your makeup masterclass?" Marjorie smiled.
"I guess." Reece said, standing up.

Reece pecked Marjorie on the lips and followed her upstairs. He playfully smacked her ass, which resulted in a glare from Marjorie.

"Seriously?" Marjorie turned around, scoffing.
"What?" Reece said, acting clueless.
"Not now." Marjorie said.

Marjorie opened the door to the bedroom, finding Carly still sitting at her vanity.

"Okay. Reece come over here." Marjorie said, grabbing another stool.
"Okay." Reece grabbed the stool from Marjorie and sat on it.
"Now." Marjorie started, sitting on another stool. "What do you think comes first?"
"Um, this thing because it's the first thing." Reece grabbed the bottle of primer.
"Correct. That's primer." Marjorie smiled.

Reece took off the lid and pumped the blue primer in his hands.

"Ew why is it sticky??" Reece shouted.
"Because it's a primer. It grips the makeup to your face." Carly sighed.
"Now put it on her face." Marjorie rolled her eyes.
"Her whole face?" Reece glared at Marjorie.
"No, just my eyes." Carly said.
"Don't listen to her. Yes, her whole face darling." Marjorie laughed.

Reece carefully applied the primer to Carly's face. He kept making faces and complaining on how sticky and 'unsettling' the primer was.

"Can I go wash my hands because this is," Reece started, holding up his hands.

Marjorie nodded as Reece got up to go wash his hands. Carly spun around and looked at Marjorie.

"Now, normally this is where you would put foundation. I don't wear foundation, so we'll start with concealer." Marjorie said as Reece walked back into the bedroom.

Reece grabbed the concealer and opened it.

"Now, dot it carefully under her eyes. Not too much pressure, and not too much." Marjorie said, watching him carefully.

Reece put way too much concealer on Carly, despite Marjorie telling him not to.

"Reece seriously?" Carly looked in the mirror and sighed.
"What?? How do you guys put this shit on? How do you avoid that?" Reece said.
"Language." Carly rolled her eyes.
"Okay, it's okay darling. We can fix it." Marjorie stood up and grabbed the beauty blender.

Marjorie swiped off some of the concealer with the beauty blender and placed it elsewhere on Carly's face, so it would even out.

"Now," Marjorie said, handing Reece the beauty blender. "Gently tap the concealer into her skin. Make sure it gets fully blended."
"Right. Okay." Reece replied, gently blending the concealer in.
"You aren't even blending it. Go harder." Carly said.
"Won't I hurt you?" Reece asked.
"It's a sponge— never mind. You still have to apply pressure Reece." Marjorie said, holding back a laugh.

Reece blended out the concealer on Carly's face, and he set the blender down.

"That took forever. Moving on." Marjorie said, grabbing the powder off of the vanity.
"What is that?" Reece asked.
"It's loose powder. It sets the makeup in place." Marjorie said, handing it to Reece. "Just make sure you don't—"

Reece shook the powder and opened it, causing powder to go all over him.

"So...." Reece coughed.
"Oh my god you are such an idiot." Carly said, hysterically laughing at Reece, now covered in powder.
"Dear god." Marjorie also started laughing. "Take the powderpuff and dip it in the powder, and swipe it across her face, where you put the concealer."
"The what?" Reece asked.
"The triangle thing." Carly rolled her eyes.
"Okay." Reece said, applying the powder carefully across Carly's face.
"Now, you're gonna take that fluffy brush and gently brush the powder off." Marjorie said.

Reece gently brushed off the excess powder, and set the brush down.

"Take the liquid blush and put two little dots on each cheek. Right there." Marjorie said, pointing to Carly's cheeks.

Reece placed two huge dots on Carly's cheeks. He grabbed the brush to start blending them.

"Reece I look like a clown!!" Carly shouted, turning to look in the mirror.
"Marjorie said two dots each!" Reece shouted back.
"Yeah! Two little ones!!" Carly shouted again.
"It's fine. We can fix it." Marjorie shook her head and grabbed the beauty blender, and blended the blush in more. "There we go."
"Thank you. Reece over here wanted me to join the circus." Carly sighed.
"They might be hiring." Reece smirked.

Marjorie and Carly playfully smacked his arm. Marjorie grabbed the highlighter and a small brush and handed them to Reece.

"With this, you're going to take the brush and dip it in the highlighter. Gently brush it on her cheekbones, where you put the blush. Lightly dust it." Marjorie said.
"Okay." Reece nodded and opened the highlighter. "Like a windshield wiper?"
"Um sure... yeah. Just like that." Marjorie giggled.
"Wow the only step you've managed to not mess up." Carly said.
"Oh please, like you're more experienced than me. You're like—" Reece started.
"Twelve?" Carly finished his sentence.
"I was going to say thirteen. You've grown since then." Reece smiled.
"Okay Reece, be nice. Take that clear bottle and shake it. Spray it all over Carly's face." Marjorie interrupted

Reece shook the bottle and sprayed a generous amount all over Carly's face.

"Reece she didn't say drown me in it." Carly took a huge breath in.
"Sorry. I want to make sure this makeup doesn't come off." Reece put the lid back on the bottle.
"Carly, for your sake and to make sure you don't lose an eyeball, we're skipping eyeliner." Marjorie laughed.
"Whatever." Reece replied.
"Carly, go ahead and curl your eyelashes. I'm not letting Reece do that. I have a feeling you would lose your lashes." Marjorie looked over at Reece.

Carly grabbed the eyelash curler and started curling her lashes. She held the curler up high, so it looked like it was going into her eyeball.

"What in the medieval torture device is that??" Reece asked.
"It's an eyelash curler babe. It curls your lashes. It doesn't hurt I swear." Marjorie said, stifling a laugh.
"You sure??" Reece asked again.
"I'm positive. Grab that purple thing. That's mascara." Marjorie said, pointing to the purple tube of mascara. "Now gently hold it up to her eyelashes. Carly— keep blinking."

Reece applied the mascara very carefully to Carly's eyelashes. Carly stopped him and took over, because she was getting frustrated with how gentle Reece was being.

"Take that spoolie and gently brush her eyebrows up. And after that you're done my love." Marjorie smiled.

Reece fixed Carly's eyebrows and put the spoolie down. Carly looked in the mirror, actually impressed on how well Reece did on her makeup.

"Not bad Reece. I'm gonna go downstairs and wash this off." Carly smiled, walking out of the bedroom.
"If I wasn't bad, then why is she washing it off?" Reece asked, looking at Marjorie.
"Probably because it's late my darling." Marjorie smiled, standing up and giving him a kiss.
"Thanks for instructing me." Reece wrapped his arms around Marjorie.
"Of course my love. You did pretty damn well." Marjorie smiled.
