Hey guys! Though this isn't a fanfiction, I suggest you read Warrior Cats before this, so you'll understand better.

Maple was a house cat. She lived normally, ate normally, slept normally, she was content in her peaceful life. She lived in a big house with two floors also lived with a big family. There was the female human, the male human, and the female child. Maple got up from where she was sitting on the couch and yawned.

A knock at the door sounded, and Maple perked her ears. The male human got up from the other side of the couch and opened the door. There was another male human outside, carrying a big cage. Did they get me a new cage to go to the vet?  She wondered. But mine is new!  The male human outside gave the cage to the her male human, swaying the box. There was a startled hiss from inside the box and she peered closer.  Inside was a black cat, looking nervous as he spotted her. She jumped down from the couch, onto the floor.

The male human closed the door and set the cage down in front of her. he opened the cage and the shadowy cat sniffed her muzzle curiously. There was a loud call from the kitchen behind then and the male human walked toward it, probably to see  the female human. "Hi, there." The shadowy tom meowed, "My name is Shadow." Maple sat down, "Oh, my name is Maple." She meowed. As they stood there watching each other, it felt like they weren't in the huge den anymore.

It was like they were in their own dreamy land, where they could be together every day. She kept gazing into his handsome blue eyes, and then he suddenly spoke, "I'm going to say something really sappy." He meowed, putting a paw onto hers. Maple thought her heart was going to beat right out of her chest as they inched closer. "Okay.." She meowed, not taking her gaze off him. "I-I think something wonderful is going to happen." He said softly.

Maple knows all the names of the house furniture because of what her mother taught her. This chapter is when Rosemary's mother and father first met! Anyways, happy reading!
