Thunder was dreaming. He was in a beautiful field, but he wasn't to be interested of it's beauty. He wanted to fight. He knew he shouldn't after what he did to Meadow, but his claws itched for a challenge.
Suddenly, a cat padded toward him. "Who are you?!" Thunder hissed, unsheathing his claws. The cat chuckled, "My name is Nightmare. Would you like more training?" The cat meowed. Thunder hesitated, "Alright." Nightmare suddenly pounced on him, claws out, and slashed him, making him yelp in pain.
Nightmare crouched, ready to attack again, but Thunder was ready. When Nightmare pounced, Thunder hissed and sank his teeth into Nightmare's shoulder. Nightmare hissed in pain, then batted him away. "Good job." Nightmare meowed. "We'll train again tommorrow." Nightmare then walked away, leaving Thunder in the field.

Days later..
Thunder yawned, the cut on his shoulder aching. This was his fifth training session with Nightmare, and this time Nightmare had hit his shoulder. He heard his mentor Flint call hs name, and he groaned. He padded out of his nest, walking toward Flint, who was talking to Rosemary. Rosemary then bounded up to him, "Where did you get this cut?" She asked. Thunder flinched, "Th-through..a thorn in my nest!" He lied. Rosemary narrowed her eyes at Flint. "Go to Snowflake. No training for you today." Flint ordered. Thunder groaned again, and obeyed.

Last night, Nightmare had told him to meet at the sandy clearing. He sneaked into the undergrowth, glancing at Lion, who was guarding the entrance, and Rosemary. They weren't looking, so he raced toward the sandy clearing. He opened his mouth once he got there, but was interrupted by a yowl from camp, and he raced toward, half-sure he had heard someone following him.
