Rosemary couldn't believe her ears. Thunder attacked his own sister! This is what she was afraid of. She watched Mist and Thunder pad back to the nursery from her den. Then, she saw a bright ginger bundle of fur pad over to her. "Rosemary," Meadow squeaked, "I don't wanna sleep in the nursery anymore!" She meowed. Rosemary sighed, "It'll be alright, Meadow." Meadow didn't look like she was convinced but trotted back to the medicince den. Her ear had stopped bleeding, but there were still teethmarks.

Rosemary shuddered. Thunder was battle-hungry as a kit, so when he became a warrior, how powerful would he be?

"Snowflake! There was an ambush!" Rosemary yowled. A patrol had come back to camp, limping and bleeding, since they were ambushed by a badger. The cats on the patrol were Lavender, Cherry, and Dove. Rosemary hoped they would survive. Meanwhile, Willow's cough was getting better, which lightened the mood around camp, but this made everyone worry again.

Willow was now sent to the empty elder's den, being watched by a worried Mist. The cats on the patrol padded inside Snowflake's den. As she watched, Ash angrily padded up to her. "Why haven't you gone on any patrols lately?" he demanded. Rosemary flinched, "I-I.." She stammered. "Why must my mate get hurt while you stay all cozy in the camp?! She could have died out there! Some leader you are!" He growled, stomping away and lashing his tail. She was relieved that the only one who watched this arguement was Flint, and he padded toward her.

"You know, you're not a bad leader, Ash was just angry." Flint meowed. Rosemary sighed, "Why was he so angry though?" She asked. "Don't you know? His family died because of him. He doesn't want the love of his life dead." He meowed. "Understandable." She meowed. Flint nodded and padded to Meadow, who was glaring at Thunder from where he sat in front of the nursery.

Lavender then bounded from the medicine den to Ash's side, who covered her with relieved licks. Cherry and Dove then padded out, looking the way they were before the attack. She was glad none of them died. As she watched the camp, a shattering sound exploded in the sky, causing her to jump and almost trip in surprise. It was thunder. The thunder came and went, and when she gazed at the faces around her, nobody seemed to hear it. Then, Snowflake sprinted out of her den, eyes wide.

She met Rosemary's gaze and nodded. She had heard it, too.
