Rosemary ran back in the den. "WAKE UP!" She shrieked, "THE FOREST!" At the loud noise, Brook and Blaze woke up and immediately found out what was going on. They quickly ran toward Mist's den, alerted them, and then they ran to alert Snowflake and Flint. They ran across the black-path, avoiding the monsters. But right before Rosemary reached the black-path, a fur-head jumped in front of her, attempting to put her in a cage. She hesitated, but clawed it's hand, listening to it's pained yelp before joining the rest of the group on the other side.
As all of it happened, sun-fall became moonrise, and the group of hungry cats were exhausted, especially Snowflake. They quickly found a nice place to rest for the night, with a small waterfall. Snowflake and Flint had a den just behind the waterfall while Rosemary, Blaze, and Brook had a den below the rocks. Mist, Thistle, Willow, and Lavender had a den right next to Rosemary's. It was a huge relief that Willow had opened her eyes the day before. They all flopped down and fell asleep.

Rosemary opened her eyes to the light. It was now morning, or sun-up. Blaze was already awake, drinking water from their tiny pond, and Brook was sleeping beside her. Flint got out from his den, politely greeted them, and padded into the forest. Minutes later, Flint walked back to his den with a mouse in his jaws. Thistle's mate and kit were asleep, but Lavender was now awaking. She greeted Blaze by affectionately touching noses.
"Hello, Rose." Blaze purred. Rosemary nudged him playfully before getting a drink. After that, they hunted together. "It's been moons since we hunted together." Blaze noted as they walked in the forest. Rosemary nodded, "That's true. The last time we hun-" She was interuppted by a growl. Blaze and Rosemary whipped around, and their eyes widened when the saw it. They were facing a fox.
