"Rosemary....Rosemaryyyy......" Rosemary was alone, and a deep dark voice was calling her name, haunting her. "Who are you?!" Rosemary snarled. The voice chuckled, "What for?" It asked. "So I can claw you to shreds and then I can tell everyone who you are!" Rosemary growled boldly. Blaze had taught her to never back down. The voice laughed so loudly his laughter shook the ground. "You?! You think you can KILL me?!" The voice laughed. "Little murderer you are!" Out of the shadows came a cat. "My name is Shadow." The cat hissed.

Rosemary's eyes widened in disbelief. "You're not him!" Rosemary shouted."I don't believe you!" She hissed. The cat purred, "You're right. I'm not your father. Just testing you." The cat meowed sweetly, walking around her. Rosemary snarled again, and the cat smiled, "I'm your father's brother, lil' Rosy, I'm kin."  The cat meowed, chuckling. "My name is Nightmare."

_____

Rosemary was scared. She was always scared after a bad dream. But the cat, Nightmare, he seemed full of secrets. She stood up and looked around the den. Snowflake and Blaze were sleeping peacefully beside, but something seemed...off...It was still moon-frost, and the moon was high in thy sky. But there was something else, there was a creeping shadow, probably walking to their den entrance on the side, and she pounced on it as soon as it came.

It was a cat. "You!" She hissed quietly. "Me." Nightmare purred. In his jaws was a shining red stone. "What is that?" She asked, glaring at him. He purred again, "It's my little dream-vistitor." Rosemary's eyes widened, He can walk into other cat's dreams with that rock! She thought. She froze, and swatted the stone out of his jaws. "Hey!" He snarled, "It's mine!" She rushed toward the stone and picked it up, racing away and hiding in a bush.

Nightmare was on her tail, but he couldn't find her now. "Give it back!" He growled, looking around. No way! She thought. You can't be trusted with such a powerful object! She stood comepletely frozen as he prowled around, looking for her. Once she was sure he was far away, she bounded quietly back to her den. She was really glad the den was safely hidden. He knew where the camp was, but not the den.

Blaze and Snowflake were still sleeping peacefully inside, and Rosemary curled up with them, she tucked the glimmering red stone under the beddding and fell asleep.
