Rosemary never knew the day would come so soon. Snowflake was expecting KITS. KITS! She was going to be kitting in a few moons. Rosemary's spirit was finally lifted after Storm's death and she was happy for Snowflake, and she hoped no one died. There had been too much death. It was moonrise now and she was taking a night walk. She walking past Mist's den, watching as Mist cuddled with Thistle in her den, purring. Mist smiled and waved her tail when she saw Rosemary, and Rosemary waved her tail back.

Rosemary quickly caught a mouse, which she buried for later. As she walked back to the buried mouse, she came upon a stream. I wonder what fish tastes like. She thought as she saw the little fish swimming to and fro. She felt some instinct come upon her, and she crouched down, careful to not let her shadow fall against the water. She was determined to catch a fish.

At the right moment, she hit her paws against the water and quickly hooked her claws into a slippery silver fish, dragging it to the ground. She nipped it and it fell limp. She held it in her jaws proudly. She had caught her first fish! She was so excited she forgot to get her mouse and raced home, presenting her first fish to Blaze and Brook.

Blaze's eyes were full of pride and Brook's were full of awe. "Wow!" Brook exclaimed happily, "May I have the first bite?" She asked eagerly. "Now, now," Blaze meowed, gently nudging Brook, "Let your mother try." He gazed at Rosemary, his eyes sparkling, and she smiled. She crouched down, and took a huge bite. It tasted rich and strong, very fishy, and with water flavor. "Wow." She mumbled around her bite.

She, Blaze, and Brook took turns taking a bite until the fish was done. When they finished, it was almost past moon-frost. Brook yawned, and easily fell asleep in Blaze's paws. She cuddled up with Blaze and Brook and she fell to sleep.

Rosemary woke up to the roar of monsters. She jumped to her paws, not disturbing Blaze and Brook, who were still asleep, and walked to the entrance to see what was happening. Monsters, monsters everywhere! Cutting down the forest. As Rosemary watched in horror, she knew the destruction of the forest had begun.

Yay! The picture up there is Rosemary.
