Chapter 84: Vulture & Shocker Team-Up

Y/N's P.O.V

So, Ben and I are out as Spider-Man and Scarlet Spider.

Right now we're dealing with Vulture and Shocker.

It seems they've decided to team-up to take us down.

I'm swinging around and avoiding the Vulture's wings.

Ben: Hey, Spidey, I really hate it when the bad guys team-up to take us down.

I web zip up and stick to the side of a building.

Y/N: They have to, man. They know they can't beat our dynamic duo alone.

He chuckles.

Ben: Oh, yeah. Good point.

Vulture flies at me, but I kick him in the face.

As he moves back I jump at him and land on his back.

Vulture flies up and spins to shake me off.

Y/N: That's not gonna work, Vulture.

I crawl up to see the pack.

Y/N: Time to ground this bird.

I use my Talon Claws to slash through the pack.

This causes his wings to shut down and we start falling.

Vulture: You idiot! You're gonna get us both killed!

I chuckle.

Y/N: Dude, you really need to start paying attention.

I fire a web line and swing down.

After that I use web to leave Vulture hanging upside-down from a billboard.

Y/N: Well, that's one down.

I drop down to see Ben has webbed down Shocker.

I walk over to them.

Y/N: Hey, you got him.

Ben: Yep. What about Vulture?

Y/N: Oh, he's just hanging around.

I point to Vulture.

Ben: Nice.

Y/N: The cops will need a crane or something to get him down.

Just then cop cars show up.

A few cops get out of the cars and walk over to us.

Cop: Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider, thanks for helping.

Cop #2: But where's the Vulture?

Y/N: Up there.

They look up to see him on the billboard.

Cop: Oh, damn.

Y/N: Uh, I'll get him down for you.

I go up and bring the Vulture back down.

Y/N: There you go.

Cop: Thanks, Spidey.

After that Ben and I web swing away.

We land on a nearby rooftop and take off our masks.

Ben: That was fun.

Y/N: True. Harry's gonna be upset he missed out on the party.

Ben: Oh, definitely.

We both laugh and fist bump.

Y/N: Well, I better get going. I got a date night with Tara.

Ben: Alright, man. I'll finish up on patrol.

Y/N: Thanks, bro.

We then clapse hands.

After that I put my mask on and web swing back home.

(One hour later)

I'm now at home with Tara and having dinner together.

And as the power us out right now for some reason, so we have candles.

Tara: Well, this is great.

I smile.

Y/N: Yeah, it is.

Tara: And the candles make it much more romantic.

Y/N: It was unplanned, but yeah it does.

I sigh.

Y/N: I wanted to do something nice for you. I know I haven't been around recently.

Tara: Y/N, you've been protecting the city. Not to mention dealing with the holdouts of the Maggia. So, I understand.

Y/N: I know. I just want you to know I'm sorry.

Tara: I know, but you always make up for it by coming back home to me.

I smile.

Y/N: I do my best.

Tara gets up and comes over to me.

She sits on my lap.

Tara: But if you wanna make it up to me in a different way, I can think of a few new ways.

I smile.

Y/N: Oh, yeah?

Tara: Yep.

We lean in and kiss.

As it gets more heated I stand up and carry Tara to our bedroom.

(Thirty minutes later)

Tara and I are now laying in bed after having sex.

I lay on top of her as she runs her hands up and down my back.

Y/N: So, was that a good way to make it up to you.

She smiles.

Tara: Oh, definitely.

We kiss again.

I gently lay kisses on her face, then down to her chest.

I start kissing further down.

Tara: Hey, hey. Get back here.

She pulls my face back up before pulling me into a deep kiss.

Just then we feel the whole place rumbling.

We immediately get up and put clothes on.

Tara: What was that?

Y/N: No idea.

Just then I get a call from Harry.

Harry: Y/N, you there?

Y/N: Yeah, what's happening?

Harry: Something landed near your place. And it's something big.

Y/N: Got it. I'll check it out.

Harry: Right.

I look to Tara.

Y/N: Tara, I have to go.

Tara: I know, go.

I quickly grab my suit and leave our bedroom.

Tara: Be careful.

I suit up before leaving the house.

I need to find out what landed nearby, cause I get the feeling is something bad.
