☁️Ruisaki - Family Trip

RUISAKI FANS RISE!!! This was inspired off of a post I saw on Pinterest and i immediately got the idea to make this! This is for you ruisaki fan!!!

The Tenma siblings, Tsukasa and Saki, were home alone. Their parents were out on a business trip and the two siblings were bored. Luckily, Tsukasa had an idea on what to do, calling a family friend, Toya, over for extra help. Saki wasn't sure of this idea but, it seemed like fun enough.

...

"Tsukasa, do you even know how to use a boat..?" A worried voice came from Toya.

"Oh of course! My father taught me the basics when I was young."

Saki piped up, "I remember that! I was too young to go and learn too but I got to help take a lot of pictures of the fish."

Toya relaxed at that and gave a small nod, "How may I help Tsukasa..?"

"Well you can go over there..."

Saki tuned the rest out, going to the edge and looking out at the swishing water. The way they made little waves and left bubbly water in their wake was always interesting to her. The soft hum of the the boat made, the pretty water, the smell of the ocean air...and..a seagull?!

Before she could process it, a seagull flew towards her head, plucking at her.

"Hey! Stop that!" Saki swatted the seagull, trying to pry it away. She stepped backwards as the attacks never let up. Then..a very very bad wrong move. She tripped and abruptly felt the freezing water surrounding her. She was in the water. She was panicking, feeling the waves pulling and pushing her till she couldn't tell what was up and down. Saki let out a gasp, feeling her breath running out. The bubbles moved up and towards the air. Now knowing where to go, she swam in the direction of the bubbles until..

Cough cough cough

She was out. She looked around, just endless ocean. Who knows where the boat was.

"Oh..an island.." Spotting a small and most likely deserted Island, she swam towards it. She laid down on the sand, feeling it get into her hair. It didn't matter anymore, she was glad to be reunited with land. Eventually though, she sat up. Saki would have to make some sort of sign that she was here.

She ventured along the island for something to use. Spotting a small cave, she went closer to it and saw it had a pool of water in it. Out of curiosity, she peered into the water. Something had caught her eye. Something purple. Suddenly, she saw herself face to face with these yellow eyes. She was making eye contact with this..creature. Upon better look, it was a human?

No way.

"A mermaid?" Saki gasped.

Then upon better look she realized....

"Oh. A merman."

Saki gave the merman a friendly wave with a clearly excited smile. It faltered as she saw the majestic creature swim away from sight. She didn't even get a good look at him. Her disappointment was immeasurable.

Then there was a flicker of that purple tail again and the merman rose to the surface. Saki looked at him, the unusual cyan streaks and the weird haircut somehow came all together to bring his face to harmony. He was absolutely gorgeous. It was almost like his yellow eyes were illuminating, lighting up her entire view. She didn't even realize he was moving a hand to her. In fact, it took her a good thirty seconds until the merman motioned towards her with his hand again.

"Huh..? What is it??"

The merman opened his hand, a golden necklace with pink starfish over it was in it. He handed it to her and smiled.

Saki put it on, smiling back.

The two were then suddenly interrupted by a loud sound...the boat! Unfortunately, the sound frightened the merman and he fled, diving downwards and leaving. Saki couldn't react in time.

"No no no wait!"

Saki reached out for him but it was already too late. No matter her disappointment though. Her brother was worried about her and she did not want to be left behind!

She started running, trying not to trip on any pesky rocks and pebbles she didn't see in the way.

"GUYS!!!!"

She swam towards the boat and before she knew it, Toya was hauling her up.

"Saki?? Are you okay? What happened? How did you fall off? Are you hurt? Are you cold? Did you hit your head? Do you still have your memory? Oh my god..are you seconds away before DEATH?! SAKI DO I NEED TO CARRY YOU?!" Tsukasa panicked over Saki, forgetting to actually act. Toya took that job and wrapped a towel around Saki.

"I'm fine..I just accidentally fell overboard. It's a long story."

Tsukasa hugged her, practically crying in relief. Toya joined in on the hug, helping Saki warm up. She really loved these guys.

Toya decided to stay over for the night to help with Saki and make sure things were under control. They were all in the living room. Tsukasa, of course, was snoring loudly on the couch. Toya, was still and quiet as a mouse.

"Toya..are you up..?"

"Yes, do you need something Saki..?"

It was clear by the sound of Toya's voice that he was sleepy, it was endearing to say the least. She had never seen Toya sleepy. Pushing that aside though, she spoke.

"Oh, no...I just want to tell you a secret. I saw a merman...seriously. And I'm not joking! He gave me this necklace too."

"Oh..really..? That's nice.." Toya literally dozed off mid-sentence.

"Well then." Saki sighed and looked down at the necklace in her hands. She put it on and smiled.

"It's probably best I don't tell anyone about you huh?" Saki settled down in her couch, pulling the blanket closer to her as she thought about those brilliant yellow eyes.

"..I really hope I didn't dream that."
