Chapter 46

Flashback continues:
Two days later:
It was the day of the results. Areum was continously tapping her legs while biting her nails clearly indicating that she was nervous. Jungkook pulled her hands away from her mouth and placed his hands above her's.

"It's going to be fine. Don't worry too much" Jungkook said and caressed the back of her palms with his thumb. Few minutes later, results were given and Areum rushed to get her report card and went out of the class with Jungkook following her. She handed it to Jungkook quickly "See it and tell me". Jungkook opened the report card and his face fell. Areum noticed his face and her face saddened. "Did I not get good grades?" She asked and took the report card to see it by herself.

She took a breath of relief "Stupid, you scared me". Jungkook burst out laughing and said "Sorry, but your reaction was worth it". Areum hit him with the card "I was really scared. I am so happy that I got all A's. Oppas will be happy" she said. "And it's all because of you. Thank you!" She continued and gave quick kiss on his cheeks.

Jungkook froze on the spot due to the sudden kiss. 'Wake up, don't dream' he thought and slapped himself lightly. He shook his head and looked at a bewildered Areum. "Why are you slapping yourself?" Areum asked. "Because I was day dreaming. I dreamt that you kissed me on my cheek" Jungkook said making Areum laugh. "I really kissed you, idiot. See, like this" she said cheerfully and kissed him again.

Jungkook's face turned red due to all the blood that is rushing to his face. "So, I wasn't dreaming?" Jungkook asked innocently. "Pabo" Areum said and pinched his arm. "Ouch" he exclaimed and rubbed his arm. "Yes! I am not dreaming and you really kissed me" he exclaimed happily. Areum laughed out and walked away with Jungkook following her.

The classes were over and Areum went to her home. Seeing her brothers doing some work on the couch, she silently went away from there. Suddenly she remembered about her report card, so she came down and silently gave the report card to Namjoon with a proud smile on her face. Namjoon took it with a confused face and looked at it. A smile crept on his face immediately and planted a kiss on her forehead "I am proud of you Areum" he said lovingly.

"What is this?" Taehyung asked and peeked into the card "Woahh! All A's. Are you sure that it's yours?" He asked with a shocked face. "Opppaaa!" She whined.  Yoongi smacked his head and shot him a glare making him shut his mouth. "Good job" Jin said and also kissed her forehead. For the first time, she felt happy that she made her brothers proud of her.

As this was a happy day for Areum, Jungkook planned something to make her day more special but he wasn't sure whether Areum would come with him or not. So he dailed her number to ask her.

"Hello. Babe, would you like to come with me to a very beautiful place" Jungkook asked.

"At this time? I don't know whether oppas will allow me or not. We can go tomorrow, after the university" she said sadly.

"But we can go that place only at night. Can you ask them once?" Jungkook requested.

"Okay, I will try" she said and cut the call. "Aish, it's going to be hard to convince them" she told to herself and went to Jin's room. She knocked the door and waited for his response "Come in" he replied and Areum went inside. Jin looked up from his laptop and looked at her with a confused face. "You want anything?" He asked her and gestured her to sit on the bed.

Areum took a seat on the bed and started softly "Oppa.. can I go out with Jungsun?" "Now?" Jin asked firmly and Areum nodded her head slowly. "No" he declared and went back to do his work. "Please" this time she pleaded him with her puppy eyes. "No means no, listen to me and go to your room" Jin replied sternly without even looking at her face. "B-but, I promised her" she told to convince him. "You can go tomorrow, at day time" he replied with full concentration on his laptop.
