The Story Of Us ✔️

Chapter 1

"Eomma!! Eomma!!" yelled a girl while entering her parents room. "Jeon Hana, why are you shouting" replied her mom when her daughter entered the room. "Sorry mom" she replied sheepishly.

Her mom sighed. "What are doing here. Did you complete your homework?" she questioned her daughter. "Yes mom I completed it. Why do you have to ask me about my homework every other day, I am not a small kid mom, I am fifteeen years old" Hana complained cutely to her mom with a little pout on her face. Her mom chuckled seeing her reaction. "Oh really! Then from next time don't tell eomma help in completing my homework, I forgot to do it yesterday and I am running out of time" her mom teased while laughing. "Don't tease me, I will complain to appa" told her daughter with the same pout. Her mom just chuckled in return.

Hana continued "I came to ask you something. You and appa loved each other and married, right?" Her mom nodded as a reply. "I want to know your love story, everything from the start" her daughter continued. Her mom, Kim Areum was startled by her question "What made you interested in our story? " . Areum really wanted to know why her daughter wants to know about their love story. "I saw a movie which was a love story. I really loved it and I wanted to know your story, you never told me your story. Pleaseeee" asked Hana with her cute doe eyes which were a replica of her father's and Areum couldn't resist that.

"Let me tell you the story. It started when I joined university...

Flashback (around 23 years ago):
"Oppa I don't want 4 bodyguards around me in the university always. It's so annoying" complained Areum to her 3rd eldest brother Hoseok. He sighed and replied to her little angrily "How many times should I tell you Areum, it's not possible, you have danger around you and you need protection, we are not sending you anywhere without 3 or 4 bodyguards"."You are not understanding oppa. They are always around me, it's irritating me. I can't even go around the university without them. They are always behind my back and I don't like this. It's not like someone will come and attack me in the university building" argued Areum.

Hoseok lost his cool and said in a little loud voice "No, you understand. You are from a mafia related family, anyone can attack from anywhere and you don't know that. We are doing this for you safety. Are you a small kid that you can't understand this, tell me!" Hoseok looked at his sister who was standing there with tears in her eyes.

He never raised his voice on her. So when hoseok talked to her in a loud voice she couldn't help but cry. Well Hoseok was not wrong in his place. This same conversation has already happened 3 times before this and he explained to her calmly. Now when she argued with him even after explaining to her nicely he got angry.

His face softened a little when he saw tears in her eyes. He tried to calm himself because he didn't want to yell at her again. After calming down he went towards her and lifted her face softly by her chin. He rubbed the tears on her face with his hands. "I am sorry Areum. I didn't mean to yell at you".

"Oppa can you please talk to others about this. Please" she pleaded him. "Areum not this again. I don't want you to bring this topic again in front of me" said Hoseok a bit sternly. "But-" "Not a single word Areum. Now go from here, I have work to do" saying this he dismissed her from his room.

"Just a minute mom, as far as I know samchons were strict with you when you were younger, so how did talk to Hoseok samchon in that manner. Weren't you scared?"asked Hana to her mom. "Hoseok oppa was not that strict. He was loving and took care of me. Sometimes he was stern but nothing more than that. Taehyung oppa was always so loving and sweet with me, never scolded me or was strict or stern with me. He was my secret favourite at that time" Areum chuckled a bit "Jin oppa, Yoongi oppa, Namjoon oppa and Jimin were always cold and strict with me but I know they loved me. I used to be so scared of them." Areum told her daughter. Hana is listening to her mom with full concentration. Areum asked"Shall I continue the story now?" "Yes mom" replied Hana.

Flashback continues:

Areum left the room but Hoseok was thinking something deeply.

Hoseok POV :
"What do I do? I don't want her to uncomfortable but at the same time I want her to have full protection. Should I talk to others about this? But they would be angry. Ahhhh!! What do I do!!" I got up and decided to talk to others about this.

I messaged others to come to the meeting room to talk about Areum.

At the meeting room:
"What did you want to talk about Hoseok" asked Jin hyung seriously. I gulped a little before answering his question because he is going to get angry for sure "Areum doesn't want any bodyguards with her in university. It's making her uncomfortable". I looked at them to see their reactions. They were looking angry and serious.

Jimin was the first one to speak up "Doesn't she understand what family she belongs to. She need the protection of bodyguards, it's dangerous out there. It's for -" he said angrily but got cut off in the middle by Yoongi. "Calm down Jimin, let Hoseok complete" "you continue" Yoongi hyung told while looking towards me. I continued "I know Jimin, I told the same to her but just listen to me once" I took a deep breath and continued "She was home schooled since her childhood. This is her first time going to a actual university to study. She doesn't have many friends and trying to make friends now. I don't want her to be in any kind of uncomfortable situations." Yoongi hyung opened his mouth to say something but I immediately shut his mouth by saying "Just a minute hyung. I am not telling to remove all her bodyguards. What if we just appoint one bodyguard who is capable enough on his own to keep her safe" I looked unsurely at them waiting for them to react.

"Yes hyungs, I think Hoseok hyung is right" Taehyung told looking at them. I mentally thanked him for supporting me. Namjoon started "Tae-" but he immediately got cut off when Jin hyung started to speak "I will think about this matter". "But hyung it's not sa-" Yoongi hyung stopped when he saw Jin hyung glaring at him. "I will discuss about this with you all when I find a solution. All of you can go now" Jin hyung declared. No one can say no to him because he is the eldest of us and we respect him a lot.
