Chapter 27

Flashback continues:
It was night when BTS started getting ready for their mission. They made sure everything was perfect as they didn't want Jong Su to slip out of their hands this time. Everyone checked their weapons once again before leaving. Just before leaving they thought of meeting Areum so they went and knocked on her room's door. She opened the door and saw her brothers in black clothes, masks and full of weapons. She never saw them leaving for a mission but she understood that they were going for a mafia related work.

Areum moved aside giving them space to enter her room. Jin made her sit on the bed and knelt down in front of her. He removed the mask and spoke "Areum-ah, we are going to fight that Jong Su now. We don't know when we will return but I promise all of us will come back for you. We will make sure to complete our revenge this time. Wait for a bit, we will make sure there would be no danger for you and you can go wherever you want, ok?" he was caressing the back of her palms softly while speaking with her.

"Oppa, just come back safe. Don't get hurt" Areum spoke while looking at all of them as they gave her a thumbs up. She hugged Jin and said to him "All the best, I love you oppa" which made Jin shocked that he didn't even return the hug. Areum left him and Jin got up to leave from there. "I love all of you" Areum said just before they left the room which made all of them to smile a little. That also gave them more confidence and strength to defeat the gang.

Next day(friday)
Areum woke up and went downstairs happily to see if her brothers are back but her smile disappeared when she saw no one. She asked the helpers in the mansion whether they returned home and they replied that they didn't. Areum was waiting for them the whole day but they didn't return. Now she started to get worried because they were never in a mission for more than 24 hours. She even denied eating dinner and just sat in the living room waiting for them. She never felt this much stressed and pressured when they left for mafia work. She slept on the couch itself while waiting for them.

Next day(Saturday)
It was early in the morning around 6 am. Areum woke up due to some sounds in the living room. She woke up with a jerk and looked at the sources of noises. Her lips curved upwards seeing her brothers coming to the mansion and yelled "OPPA" and ran towards them. She was about to hug them but they stopped by saying "Not now Areum and why are you on the couch?" Jimin questioned her. She retreated her hands back and said with a little pout on her face "I was waiting for you. I was so worried". Everyone looked at her with shocked faces as she never done that.

"Thank you dear, we are fine, go to your room and sleep, you look like a zombie. No need to attend classes today" Namjoon said to her. She nodded and asked "What happened to Jong Su?" "Well, as you can see we are back here in the mansion, all fit and fine. So, that means the mission is a success. That mothe- I mean that person is in our lock up. You don't have to worry about that" Yoongi said. He was about to say a cuss word but stopped when he saw Jin glaring at him.

Areum replied with a ok and went to her room. She immediately went to sleep as she was satisfied that her brothers came without any major injuries. BTS also went to their rooms after treating their injuries which wasn't that major. They immediately went to sleep as they were so tired from the mission.

Later that evening, Areum was studying in her room as she was having her monthly test in 9 days. As she was studying with full concentration, someone knocked the door. "Come in" she said while looking towards the door and her eyes widened. It was her brothers who came to her room, she didn't expect them to be here at this time. "Oppa, do you have any work with me" she asked them but she looked happy seeing one person. It was Taehyung, he wasn't talking with her from the day she ran away from college and Areum was feeling so bad about it. She tried talking but he would just straight up ignore her or not even look at her.
