Chapter 38

Flashback continues:
Tears rolled down Areum's eyes as she ran towards to her room. She went inside her room and locked the door so that no one could come inside. 'Why are you doing this to me Jungkook' She thought to herself. Areum started to like him but she thought that Jungkook doesn't see her in that way. So when Jungkook does something that makes her feel loved, she can't help but increase her feelings towards him.

Now, tears formed in her eyes thinking that Jungkook doesn't love her the way she does. This thought alone made her cry. Little did she know that Jungkook feels the same for her, maybe more than her. Areum cried herself to sleep.

Meanwhile with Jungkook:
When Areum hugged him outside the car, he wanted to hold her so close to himself and never leave her. But he can't do that, because Jungkook thinks that Areum doesn't love him the way he does. 'It's giving me necessary feelings. Shall I stop being so close to her? May be then I can stop my feelings from growing more' Jungkook thought to himself. 'Yeah, I can do that. Let's try from tomorrow' Jungkook thought and went into his dreamland.

"So both of you loved each other so much but didn't tell each other thinking the other doesn't feel it. Am I right?" Hana questioned them. Both Areum and Jungkook nodded at her question. "Aish, both of you are so slow. You must have understood that the other person likes you by the way they behave. Both of you were so obvious especially Kookie samchon" Chaeyoung commented.

Areum and Jungkook laughed awkwardly as they were embarrassed making others chuckle at them. "Look at me, I confessed my feelings to a boy at school" Chaeyoung said with a proud hair flip. She realized she slipped her mouth when Hana hit her thigh to warn her. She widened her eyes and said immediately "I mean, my friend confessed, not me". "Yaahhh stop lying, tell me who is that boy" Yoona (Tae's wife) questioned her seriously.

'No-No one Eomma, I was just kidding" Chaeyoung said being nervous. "Chae! Do-" Yoona started but Areum stopped her "Unnie, don't scold her now". "Let me tell this to your appa" Yoona threatened her making Chae widen her eyes. "NO, don't tell him anything please" Chae pleaded her.

Namjoon decided to intervene "Yoona, don't scold the poor kid now. Let's stop this matter for now" he said take Chaeyoung. Yoona didn't say anything but glared at the poor kid. "Okay, let us continue the story" Jungkook said to divert the matter.

Flashback continues:
The next day, Areum woke up and sat on the bed. Her face lit up as she remembered that she was going to a amusement park with her brothers. She immediately freshened up and got ready to go. She wore a simple Jeans and T-shirt with a jacket. She took her phone and went downstairs. Her face turned gloomy as she found no one. She sat down to have breakfast and she was served her breakfast. "Did oppas have their breakfast?" Areum asked the worker.

"They left the house early in the morning telling that it's going to be late" the worker replied to her. "Oh okay" Areum replied with a low voice. She finished her breakfast slowly and turned on the TV in the living room. She sat there waiting for her brothers. She was looking at the door from time to time anticipating her brothers would come but they didn't show up.

Three hours passed, but there was no sign of them. She lost her hope and went back to her room. She spent the next 5 hours waiting in her room with a slight hope they would come but she was disappointed. Areum became very sad and felt really bad as her brothers didn't fulfill their promise. She wanted to cry but controlled her tears and changed her dress to a pajamas.
