Areum's POV :
I woke up due to the sound of the alarm. I got ready and went downstairs to have my breakfast. I was excited as well as nervous because it was my big day today. I was going to perform in front of many people. It was a totally new experience for me and oppas also will be there to see my performance. "Ahhh!! I am so excited" I mumbled to myself happily. I did my breakfast fastly and went towards Taehyung oppa and Hoseok oppa when they were alone.

"Oppa, both of you will be coming today, right? Can you ask Yoongi oppa and Jimin oppa to come with you. Namjoon oppa and Jin oppa would be angry, don't tell them" I asked them being excited. "Areum, we-" Before Hoseok oppa can complete his sentence Yoongi oppa interrupted "What should they ask me and Jimin?" "Hyung, in her univer-" before Hoseok oppa can complete his sentence again, Taehyung interrupted seeing Jin coming there "Hyung, we can talk later. Let's go. It's getting late". None of them answered my question. I went from there being sulky.

I went outside and saw Jungkook-ssi waiting as always. I ran towards and wished him a good morning. He wished me back with a smile. "Did you keep my violin inside" I asked to him. "Yes ma'am, it's in the trunk of the car" he said to me. I nodded and sat inside the car. He also did the same and started the car. "Jungkook-ssi, today I am performing in front of many people for the first time. Oppas are also coming to see my performance" I said being excited. He smiled brightly and said "Really Areum-ssi, I wish you the best of luck. I am waiting to see your performance". "Thank you so much Jungkook-ssi" I said to him.

"Is that the reason you gave me your violin yesterday. You could have brought it today also. It's not like you will forget it" he asked me. "If I bring it today, oppas will see me and may deny to give any performance. I didn't want to take any risk, so I gave it you yesterday itself when no one was there" I replied to him. "Ahh!! Okay, got it" he said understanding. Soon we reached the university.

I had to do rehearsals so we directly went to the music club where we had to practice. My performance was a violin solo. I took out my violin and warmed up by playing some basics. Then I reviewed the music notes for the performance and started playing it. There was no one in the room except me and Jungkook-ssi. I looked towards him and he showed me a thumbs up as a sign of assurance. I took a deep breath and started playing it. My hands and fingers were moving in a very fast pace following the music notes. I was immersed in the music and closed my eyes to feel the music.

The music piece ended after a few minutes. I opened my eyes and looked towards Jungkook-ssi to see his reaction. His mouth was wide open. I clicked my fingers in front of him to get his attention. He came out of his imagination and looked at me. "How is it, is it good? Do you like it?" I asked him. He thought for few seconds and said "No, it's not good"

"What!! Isn't it pleasing to ears? Should I select another musi-" I asked him being tensed but he cut me off "Atleast listen to fully Areum-ssi. I mean to say, it's not good. It's amazing, beautiful, extraordinary, mind blowing, outstanding, out of the world performance. I am sure everyone in the audience will give you a standing ovation for your performance. Your brothers will be proud of you" he said in a very  genuine voice.

I blushed hearing his statements and said "Enough, stop with your compliments now. We should go, my performance is in an hour. I need to change and get my make up done". He chuckled and said "Sure, let's go". Both of us left from there and went to the auditorium where the event was being held. There were many students and staffs preparing for the event. I was giving the opening act, so it made me more nervous.

We went backstage, went to my music teacher and bowed to him. "Areum-ah, you are here. I am waiting for you only. Go there, they will do your make up and later, change into this" he said sweetly by giving me white dress. I took and went towards the place sir told me to go. I got my makeup done and took the dress to change it while Jungkook-ssi followed me. "Jungkook-ssi, where are you coming" I asked him while raising my eyebrows. "Of course with you. I can't leave you alone" he said as a matter of fact.
