Flashback continues:
Areum POV:
I went to Yoongi oppa's room and knocked the door. He told me to come in and I went in slowly. "So, what punishment do you think you deserve" he asked me. "I don't know oppa" I said to him. He thought for few seconds and said strictly "Go and kneel down by facing the wall, also raise your hands up straight. Think about the mistake you did yesterday and tell me whether it was right or not after the punishment"

I blinked my eyes a few times because I didn't expect this type of punishment. I think he gave me this punishment because I was wearing shorts at that time and kneeling on the hard floor with nothing protecting your knees is difficult. I nodded and knelt down by facing the wall and raising my hands up. I started thinking as he told me to. As I started thinking, I realised what my actual mistake was and what made them worried.

A few minutes passed, both my hands and knees started to pain. I lowered my hands a little unable to bear the pain but to my bad luck Yoongi oppa saw me "Areum, hands straight or else I will restart the timer" he warned me. I mumbled a sorry and put my hands straight again. A few minutes later, I was really struggling to keep my hands straight. He saw me and said "Keep your hands down but continue kneeling down and don't rest on your feet" he said to me.

I lowered my hands and adjusted my posture. A few minutes passed by, I wasn't able to kneel down more so I said to him pleadingly "Oppa, I am sorry, I realised my mistake. I promise it won't happen again. Can I get up, my knees are hurting". "Punishments are meant to hurt kid, then only you will understand the depth of your mistakes and will think before doing anything like that again. Only few minutes are left, complete your punishment then you can get up" he said sternly.

I nodded and continued kneeling down. After few minutes which felt like hours to me, the timer rang indicating that the time is up. "Get up and come here" he said to me. I got up and went towards him while looking down. He made me sit on the bed while he took the chair and sat in front of me. He started rubbing my knees as they were a little red and also helpful to increase the blood circulation which may be decreased due to long time of kneeling down

"Are you okay" he asked me to which I replied "Yes oppa". "So tell me, what was your mistake and why shouldn't you do it" he asked me sternly. "I didn't inform you about my whereabouts, went to a nightclub which was unsafe to me. I drank without supervision. I acted carelessly and irresponsibly. Whatever I did wasn't right because I put myself in potential danger" I said while looking at him. "Good. Will you repeat it again?" he asked me to which I replied "No oppa".

He smiled a little, patted my head and said "Don't take us wrong kid. None of us like you getting into any kind of danger that's why we tend to be strict sometimes. I am sorry if you felt that the punishment was harsh". I smiled at him and said "No oppa, I didn't take you wrong and don't worry, it wasn't that harsh...oppa?" I called him with a low voice. "Yes" he replied and I asked while biting my lip "Are you still disappointed in me?".

"Yahhh, stupid!! I never said I was disappointed in you. I said that I was disappointed with your behaviour. Don't think about that, you are forgiven now so don't take anything to your heart OK. What matters is that you are safe, you understood your mistake and won't repeat it again. Got it" he said to me while making me look into his eyes "And stop abusing your lips like that, it will bleed" he said while tapping my cheeks a little. I stopped biting my lips and nodded by smiling a little.

"Oppa, don't tell others about this please" I said with a low voice. "Why shouldn't I tell?" he asked me by raising his eyebrows. "Because I already understood my fault and I got punishment. If they will get to know, I will be punished again. Please don't tell" I pleaded him. He looked at me for a few seconds and asked "Why do you think I punished you in this room?" "I don't know" I said to him. "It's time for others to come home, they will see you if you get punished in the living room and ask the reason. I already decided not to tell anyone, that's why I punished you in this room. Listen carefully, if this is repeated, instead of me Jin hyung's or Namjoon's or Jimin's hands will be talking to you. Understood" to which I nodded being scared.
