Chapter 43

Flashback continues:
Areum went inside the mansion thinking about her time spent with Jungkook. She went to her room and sat on the bed 'Did he kiss me on my hands. Ahhh! He is so romantic' she thought and squealed in happiness. As she was rolling on the bed with a huge grin on her face, there was a knock on the door. She sat up straight and yelled "Come in". Jimin came inside with a serious look on his face.

She sensed the seriousness and asked "Is anything wrong oppa". "Where were you day before yesterday?" He asked her seriously. "Day before yesterday? At the uni-" she stopped and widened her eyes when she realised that it was the day she went on a date. 'It's the day I went on a date. I can't tell that to him, he will definitely not like it. I also can't tell that I ditched the classes to go out. Should I lie that I was in university. He won't know, right?" Areum thought.

"AREUM" Jimin called a little loud to get her attention as she was lost in her thoughts. "I asked you something" he said to her with his eyebrows raised. "Uhmm, I was at the university. Where else would I be?" Areum replied to him being nervous. He gave a angry look at her and held her ear in a firm grip "Started lying to your brother?" he said while giving it a little twist. "Ahh! Sorry sorry, I ditched classes and went out with Jungsun" Areum said to him while narrowing her eyes in pain.

He twisted it more and left her ear "Who is giving you these kind of ideas? And tell me who is this girl Jungsun. Let us meet her, you are hanging out too much with her" he said to her. Areum widened her eyes because Jungsun wasn't a real person. It was just a made up name that she was using whenever she hung out with Jungkook. "No, you can't meet her. I mean you don't have to. She is a good person" Areum said to him with a pout on her face.

Jimin glared at her "Let me tell this to Namjoon hyung, he will take care of it" he said and turned around to leave from there. Areum quickly stopped him by holding his arm "NO, I am sorry, I swear I won't ditch classes again. Don't tell him please" she said while joining her hands in front of him as a sign of pleading him. "Why shouldn't I tell?" Jimin asked her by raising his eyebrows.

"If you te-tell Namjoon oppa, I-I will tell him that you smoke" Areum spoke trying to be confident but stammered a bit. She threatened Jimin because she didn't want Namjoon to know that she ditched classes and she knows Jimin is scared of Namjoon as he doesn't like Jimin smoking. All of them smoke from time to time but Jimin got addicted to it two years back, Namjoon got worried for his health and helped him to get rid of the habit. He also warned him not to smoke again. So, Jimin got scared hearing her.

He widened his eyes "H-How did you know that I-I was smoking" he asked her. "I saw you smoking in the garden, few days back" she said to him as matter of fact. "Aishh, you are such a brat, aren't you" he said while playfully raising his hands to smack her on the head. Areum smiled cheekily making him more annoyed. Jimin thought for a few seconds and sighed "Fine, I won't tell him. Don't you dare tell him about my smoking" he warned her. "I won't, I promise" Areum said to him.

"Just don't ditch the classes again" Jimin told her and Areum nodded "I won't ditch, I am sorry" she told to him. Jimin gave a small smile to her "Good" he said and ruffled her hair. "How did you know that I didn't attend the classes?" Areum asked him as she was curious from the start.

"I got a e-mail from your university mentioning that you didn't attend the classes since three days. As far as I know, you were missing the classes since 2 days, so I understood that you must have done something. And don't worry, I deleted the e-mail, no one can see it plus I wasn't even planning on telling Namjoon hyung, it was just an empty threat but you really surprised me, I didn't know my sister could blackmail her elder brother" Jimin stated making her rub her nape as she was embarrassed.
