Chapter 5: The Exam Crunch📃

Exams started, and so far they were going well. Y/N was doing great, and so was I. We both had been studying hard, and it was paying off.

Y/N and I had developed a comfortable routine over the weeks. We would meet in the library after classes, spend hours buried in our books, and quiz each other on key points. It was during these study sessions that I noticed how dedicated and hardworking she really was.

One afternoon, as we sat at our usual table, I glanced over at her. She was hunched over her notes, her brow furrowed in concentration. 

Despite the stress of exams, she still managed to look effortlessly beautiful.

"Hey, Y/N," I said, breaking the silence.

She looked up, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "Yeah?"

"You're doing really well," I said. "All that hard work is paying off."

She laughed lightly. "Thanks, Jimin. You're not doing too bad yourself."

I shrugged, feeling a bit embarrassed by the compliment. "Well, I have a great study partner."

Y/N grinned. "Same here."

After a few more hours of studying, we decided to call it a day. As we packed up our things, I could tell that Y/N was feeling the strain of the exams. "Want to grab a coffee or something? My treat," I offered.

She nodded eagerly. "That sounds perfect."

We walked to the nearby café, enjoying the break from our intense study sessions. The café was warm and cozy, a stark contrast to the chilly weather outside. We ordered our drinks and found a quiet corner to sit.

"So," Y/N said, taking a sip of her coffee, "what are you going to do after exams?"

I shrugged. "Probably catch up on some sleep. Maybe work on my animations."

She nodded. "That sounds nice. I've been so focused on studying that I haven't had time for anything else."

"Same here," I admitted. "But it'll be worth it."

Y/N smiled, looking relieved. "Yeah, it will."

We spent the rest of the evening talking about our plans, our dreams, and everything in between. It was moments like these that made all the stress and hard work worth it.

Y/N's POV

Exams had finally ended, and we had a two-week vacation due to the snowy weather. I hadn't seen Jimin around the dorm or the library. I found myself at a cozy café, ordering a creamy dessert. I took a few pictures for my social media and then started eating, thoroughly enjoying the break.

Lost in my dessert, I didn't notice Jimin standing by the window outside, looking at me and snapping a picture. When he came inside, my eyes widened slightly. I had cream all over my mouth, but I didn't realize it.

Jimin laughed and sat next to me. "Nice look," he said, showing me the picture on his phone.

I got embarrassed and quickly grabbed a tissue to wipe my mouth. "Hey, that's not fair!" I protested, still wiping my mouth.

He chuckled. "You were just too focused on that dessert. How's it taste?"

"Better than your teasing," I shot back playfully.

He grinned. "I'll take that as a compliment. Mind if I join you?"

"Sure," I said, gesturing to the seat next to me. "So, where have you been hiding?"
