After class, I was about to call Y/N to come with me for our drawing lessons—it had been a while since we'd done one of our sessions.

I glanced over to where Y/N usually sat, only to see her chatting and laughing with Clara. They seemed engrossed in their conversation, and the way they interacted made me feel like I was invisible.

I hesitated, watching as Y/N and Clara gathered their things, clearly enjoying each other's company. Clara's laughter was light and easy, and Y/N's smile was wide and genuine.

It struck me that I hadn't seen Y/N this animated with anyone else before, and it stirred a pang of jealousy in me.

I wanted to approach them, but something held me back.

Instead, I leaned against the doorframe and tried to come up with an excuse to interrupt their conversation. I cleared my throat, hoping to draw their attention.

"Hey, Y/N," I called out, trying to keep my voice casual.

Y/N turned to look at me, her smile faltering slightly as she saw me. "Oh, hey Jimin. What's up?"

Clara glanced between us, seemingly picking up on the slight awkwardness. "I should get going. Nice meeting you, Jimin."

"Yeah, you too," I replied, nodding at her.

As Clara walked away, Y/N's attention shifted fully to me. "So, what's up?"

I tried to sound nonchalant. "I was just wondering if you wanted to do our drawing session now. It's been a while."

Y/N's face lit up, but then she hesitated. "Actually, I was thinking of catching up with Clara for a bit. We've got some things to talk about."

I felt a twinge of disappointment but tried to hide it. "Sure, no problem. Maybe another time?"

Y/N looked apologetic. "Yeah, definitely."

I nodded, forcing a smile. "I'll see you around."

As I walked away, I couldn't shake off the feeling of being left out. It was a new and unsettling emotion, one I hadn't expected to feel so strongly.

I tried to push it aside and focus on my own tasks, but the image of Y/N and Clara together lingered in my mind, making it hard to concentrate

I was about to head to the library when a sudden urge to follow Clara and Y/N overtook me.

I wasn't entirely sure why I felt so compelled, but the thought of them hanging out without me gnawed at me.

I hesitated for a moment, glancing back at the direction they had gone.

It was ridiculous, I knew, but I felt a mix of curiosity and frustration that I couldn't ignore.

Shaking my head at myself, I decided to follow them, though I tried to keep a respectful distance.

I trailed behind, weaving through the bustling hallways, until I saw them again, sitting in a quiet corner of the cafeteria. They seemed deep in conversation, and Clara's animated gestures made it clear they were discussing something lively.

I found a spot a short distance away where I could sit and observe without intruding.

I watched as Y/N and Clara chatted, occasionally laughing and sharing stories. It was clear they were bonding over something, and the more I watched, the more I felt like an outsider.

I tried to listen in, but the noise of the cafeteria made it difficult to catch their words.

Instead, I focused on Y/N's expressions—her smiles, the way her eyes sparkled when she talked about something she enjoyed.
