Shock. Clary was on stage singing and dancing to some country song. I thought she was to scared to sing in front of anyone. God. Her voice is still as beautiful as the first time I heard her sing.

"Damn fuckin demons." I mutter under my breath as I walk through the institute towards my room. After I shower and dressed I head to the kitchen to find a snack.
'What the heck is that?' I think as I walk past the music room. I open the door and see Clary singing and spinning around. I lean up against the door frame and just listen to her voice. Damn she's amazing.

"Wow. I guess that was her way of saying she doesn't miss you. Jace" Izzy says after the song ends.
"I'm her best friend and I didn't know she could sing like that." Simon says in awe.
"I did." I said as I just stared at her. Creepy? Yes. Wrong? No.
"Ok. I hope all liked that song now I'm gonna do one more song then i'm gonna take five." Clary says after getting a drink out off her water bottle.
Ten minutes later Clary walks up to our table. "What are you guys doing here?" she asks.
"We are here to celebrate Alec's birthday. "Magnus says while leaning back on the chair he was in. As Alec glares at him.
"Well from the looks Alec is giving you. I don't think he wants to be here." Clary laughs as she pulls out a chair beside Magnus.
Magnus just sticks his tongue out at her before pulling Alec into a heated kiss.
Four and a half hours later everyone is leaving. Izzy and Simon head toward the institute. Alec and Magnus head towards Magnus's flat. As I stand out side the door waiting on Clary to come out and she does after thirty minutes carrying a passed out Ryder.
"Hey. Do you need some help?" I ask as I fall into step beside her as she walks to her car.
"Sure. Can you open the door? Please." she says with a small smile.
After she has Ryder buckled in I ask, "Do you mind if I ride with you. I want to talk to you."
She looks at me for a moment then nods her head yes.
