Chapter 20: The Fall of Evil- Part 2

The group stopped, hovering as they arrived at the sand kingdom border. Chosen then flew to the front of the group. "Alright everyone, we get in defeat Venomara and Victim, and this whole nightmare is over. Once we have them defeated, we can get the Pyrrhian queens back on their thrones."

Mango then looked to the group. "I say we have groups. Incase we need to separate. Let's do groups of two. Watch over your partner. Keep an eye on them at all times."

Everyone split off into groups relatively quickly. Chosen with Second, Fallen with Jade, Crimson with Goldfinch, Blue with Yellow, Green with Red, Mango with Purple, leaving Cadet to group with Vesuvius.

Chosen nodded to the groups. "Let's do this. Convene in the throne room."

The groups then all shot off, entering the palace through different ways.

Chosen stalked through the palace, with Second right next to him. As Second walked, green sparks flickered around him, giving sign that his powers were coming back. Chosen noticed this immediately. "Your powers are choosing a perfect moment to return."

Second laughed as they kept walking. Soon enough they arrived at their spot, waiting for the signals of the other groups.

Fallen and Jade quickly made their way into the rafters above the throne. Fallen was using his powers to make himself and Jade invisible, so they could sneak around even better. Both got into position, and Fallen sent the signal.

Crimson and Goldfinch snuck up to their location. As they got near, Crimson shifted into a virabot and crawled onto Goldfinch's back. With a soft chitter, Crimson sent a signal that they were in position.

Blue and Yellow quickly worked at the exit, setting up a redstone trap with slowness potions incase Venomara, Victim, and the mercenaries tried to flee. Neither of them said a word, each knowing exactly what the other would need without speaking. Once the trap was set, Yellow tapped a small button on a remote, sending in their signal.

Green and Red, using invisibility potions from Blue, snuck around to behind the throne. Both settled into their positions, and Green slid out a diamond sword, handed it to Red and slid out a second one for himself. The small mudwing grabbed the sword, gripping it tightly. With the help of a small mouse, Red sent word that they were in their spot and ready to go.

Mango settled down, gripping the staff tightly. He looked back watching as Purple pulled out his elytra, placed it on, and pulled out a firework. Mango then made sure that a swiftness potion effect command was ready in the command block. He and Purple were assigned to be ready to pursue after Venomara, Victim, and the mercenaries if they escaped and made a run for it. Mango made a small spark of power go off with the staff, signaling they were ready.

The large firescale skywing thudded down quickly dashing over to his spot. Cadet trotted over to him, making sure to stay clear of Vesuvius' hot scales, not really in the mood to be burned by him. She slid out her dagger, and began spinning it, almost in a bored manner. Now that Dark was dead, she really had no point being there, but decided to stick around just to see if this was actually the end or if the resistance, as the group called themselves, would fail.

Chosen looked at Second and nodded, confirming that he had seen each and everyone's signals. With an ignition of powers, the two hollowheads shot out of their spot and right to the main throne area.

The two of them thumped to the ground standing face to face with Victim and Venomara.

Venomara flicked her forked black tongue, and her cold dark eyes narrowed as she eyed them.

Victim stalked forward, a snarl rumbling in his throat and a black rope with a blue lining gripped tightly in his claws. "So, my brothers are here to attack, aye?" Victim then whistled and Agent and Hazard landed on either side of Second and Chosen.

Suddenly, a navy form and an emerald form dropped from the rafters above. Fallen landed on Hazard, quickly knocking out the mudwing, and Jade landed on Agent, using his powers to tie him up in vines.

Ballista and Primal came racing into the room. A bright golden form barreled into Primal, as Goldfinch tackled him, pinning him to the ground. Before Ballista had the time to react, a crimson form shot over, trapping Ballista's claws in virabot webbing. The virabot then turned back into Crimson and the hivewing planted a claw on Ballista, pinning the seawing.

Venomara roared in anger, and pointed her claw out. FireFang leapt off her neck, going to bite Second and Chosen, when suddenly, a soft hissing sound occurred. Everyone watched as Red came out from behind the throne, making soft hissing sounds. FireFang then turned and hissed back slithering over to Red, then curled up on the mudwings head, flicking its tongue at Red.

Venomara then rose to her claws, only to freeze as a diamond sword was pressed against her neck, as Green walked into view.

The only one now to deal with was Victim. The grey silkwing gripped the lasso tightly, as Chosen and Second stalked closer to him.

Victim then spun, flinging the lasso, grabbing the diamond sword and yanked it away from Venomara. The sandwing then raced off, with Victim right behind her.

Chosen quickly tackled Victim, pinning the silkwing. "Stop Venomara! Quickly!"

Venomara kept dashing for the exit, but was suddenly stopped as a firework exploded on her face and a purple silkwing tackled her to the ground. She writhed and struggled. Purple yelped as he fought to keep Venomara down. An orange claw reached in, helping Purple, and Mango nodded to his son. Together the two of them kept Venomara pinned.

Suddenly, Venomara's tail shot up, swinging around ready to strike. A blue form shot over grabbed the tail and Blue and Yellow worked together keeping her tail pinned.

Vesuvius walked over to Venomara. With a snarled, the firescales reached down and ran his flaming claws across her neck, burning her and slitting her throat.

Blood pooled below her and Venomara's life ended as her breath left her body.

Victim snarled, throwing Chosen off. He then grabbed Fallen throwing him at Jade, knocking her off Agent causing her to loose her focus. The vines then fell away from Agent and he ran over and got Hazard to his claws. Victim then stalked over to Crimson, punching him in the face, then grabbed him and throwing him at Goldfinch. This action allowed Primal and Ballista to get away.

Cadet snarled watching Victim punch Crimson. She then charged in, managing to land a hit with her glitchy dagger.

Victim snarled heading to the exit. He then turned facing Chosen and Second. "I'll be back you two! I'm going to destroy your pitiful creator and there will be nothing you can do to protect him!" The silkwing then shot off, with the mercenaries right behind him.

Second went to pursue but Chosen stopped him. "Let him run, Second. We'll get him another day. Right now, we need to focus getting the queen's back on their respected thrones. Let's spread out, taking different tribes. And restore peace to Pyrrhia." 

Groups were decided quickly. Red would go to mudwings, Blue to rainwings, Yellow would help the sandwings, Mango and Purple would go to the skywings, Vesuvius, along with Fallen and Jade would go to the icewings, Green to the seawings, and Chosen and Second to the nightwings. Crimson and Goldfinch would head back to base, bring Cobralily to the sand kingdom then go to Possibility with the tribrids and help the civilians there.

Chosen walked over to Cadet and she eyed him. She then turned to leave. Chosen looked at her. "You are leaving now?" 

Cadet spun her dagger. "I only stuck around for Dark's defeat. That's the whole reason I was even on your side. After today, Chosen One, we are enemies once again. You and Second Coming better watch your backs. I can assure you this isn't the last you'll see of me." With a glitch, the cadet blue rainwing teleported out of the room.

Chosen's tail lashed as he was tense, cautious of what Cadet had just said. He then looked to the group. "Go everyone. Let's get this place back to the way it was." 

The group then split off, heading to work on restoring Pyrrhia back to the days of peace, before evils arrival.
