Chosen walked forward. He realized that he was at him and Dark's old place. He was back in the Outernet. Looking in the mirror, a black hollowhead was visible in his reflection. "How did we get back here?"

Footsteps sounded and Chosen spun. "Second? That you?"

As Chosen rounded the corner, he couldn't believe what he saw. A bright red hollowhead staggered into the doorway. The hollowhead fell against the doorframe, barely conscious. "DARK?!"

Chosen raced over, catching the hollowhead as he fell. "Dark!? How? How are you alive?"

Dark mumbled something, but Chosen didn't hear it.

"Dark just breathe, don't speak, you need your strength."

Chosen then carried Dark over to the couch and laid him on it.

"Why?" A soft voice sounded. Dark then suddenly jerked forward, grabbing Chosen's arm. "Why didn't you save me? I thought we were brothers! Why didn't you fight to save me? You could have saved me. I wouldn't be dead."

Dark then fell back, his bright red form going limp.

"Dark! Please! I can save you this time! Just stay with me!"

Dark's body then began to fade away in code.

As he finished fading, a soft voice sounded in Chosen's ears. "Why didn't you save me? What happened to us being brothers?"

Chosen's eyes shot open and he sat up. "Dark?" He looked around, sighing as he realized it was just a dream. "Get it through your head, Chosen, he's dead. Dark isn't coming back." He muttered to himself.

A knock on the door made Chosen looked over. The door opened and a tribrid looked in. "Uh, hi, Chosen. Sorry to wake you but Doom said you wanted everyone up by noon. Everyone is awake and outside except for you and Second."

"Thank you, Finch. I'll get Sec up then we'll be down."

"Okay!" Finch then left the room.

Chosen looked over at Second. "Time to get up Second. It's time to go."

"Really?" Second looked up.

"Yes, it's time to return to the PC."

Second got out of bed and packed his bag, throwing it over his shoulder. "I'm ready to go, Chosen."

"Same here."

Chosen and Second headed down to the door and went out to where everyone else was waiting.

Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue were chatting about what they were gonna do when they got back. Fallen and Jade were sitting next to each other, their tails entwined. Crimson looked nervous, and Goldfinch looked to be reassuring him. Purple was adjusted his elytra as he sat next to Mango, who had his wing around the silkwing. Doom, Echo, Finch, and Vesuvius were all talking. Wisdom sat off to the side, watching Dawn, Dusk, and Eclipse play.

Chosen was about to say something, when he suddenly tensed. He ignited his pyrokinesis, shooting at a tree, and tackling a monstrous nightwing out of it. "Corrupted! I thought I sensed a virabot here."

"Çħöşęñ Õņë." Corrupted snarled, his distorted voice sending chills up Chosen's spine.

Second looked over at Wisdom, whose eyes continued a sorrowful look. Pieces then began to click in Second's mind. Corrupted looks like a nightwing. We always see Wisdom and her dragonets, but yet we don't see a mate or father. The way Wisdom is looking at Corrupted. Corrupted was a normal nightwing that was infected by Dark's corrupted virus! "CHOSEN! Don't kill him!" Second raced over, pulling Chosen off Corrupted.

"Second? What are you doing?"

"Ħűğë mįšťäķę, ħïvẽŵįńğ." Corrupted laughed as he got up.

"No, it isn't, Shadow."

Chosen looked over. "What did you just call him?"

"That's his real name, Shadow. He was corrupted by Dark. Hence his full name, The Corrupted Shadow."

"Second, what are you doing?"

"Chosen, I'm not leaving Pyrrhia. We have one more mission, one more to free."

"Sec, he's been corrupted for years probably. We don't know if it will work on him." Fallen looked over at the monstrous nightwing.

"It did for Viro and by my calculations, he was corrupted longer than Corrupted, I mean Shadow." Yellow pushed his glasses up.

"I say we go for it. A small amount of Second's powers free us, his powers at full strength might do the trick." Purple flicked his tail.

"Fine, do it, Second."

Second walked over and placed his claws on Corrupted's shoulders. A bright green aura surrounded the two. Moments later, the aura faded. An exhausted Second backed up, immediately caught by Chosen. Everyone looked in shock. A navy blue nightwing with silver markings and black underbelly stood where Corrupted had been standing. The bright red eyes changed to a blue color and the bright red horn rings also changed to blue.

"Shadow?" Wisdom walked forward looking at the nightwing.

"Wisdom?" The nightwing looked up.

"Is it really you?" Wisdom walked closer. "After all this time?"

"DAD!" The three dragonets raced over, tackling Shadow over.

"MY DRAGONETS!" Shadow wrapped his wings around them, embracing them tightly.

"SHADOW!" Wisdom raced over, wrapping her wings around Shadow. "You're back! It's you! It's really you!" Wisdom then looked toward Second, and hugged him tightly. "Thank you! I can never express my gratitude enough! You've returned my mate and their father."

"Of course, Wisdom. I wasn't about to leave with him still under Dark's control."

Chosen walked over. "How did you know?"

"Things started connecting. After everything with that corruption virus Dark used on you, I finally had the missing pieces to connect everything. Now, Pyrrhia is completely free of Dark. Now we can go home."

The group waved goodbye as Chosen opened the portal back to the PC.

One by one they then went through.

The stick figures arrived back onto the PC. A worried yet relieved voice then sounded.

"There you all are. I was so worried. Are you all okay?" Alan sat at the computer screen, watching as the group came back.

"We're okay, Alan, I promise." Second smiled.

"You guys want to just chill and watch TV?" Red smiled at the group.

Everyone nodded. The group then headed over, got a few spare rooms for Fallen, Jade, Crimson, and Goldfinch set up, then they all got watching TV, and spent the rest of the day relaxing, now that it was finally over.
