-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mango and Purple arrived at the sky kingdom. The tall skywing slid the staff into its holder and watched as Purple started to remove his elytra. "Hold up, Purple. Remember we have to fly to get down to the dungeon where Skyfire was being held."

Purple nodded putting his elytra back on. He then followed Mango throughout the palace.

As Mango walked along, he received many glares and harsh looks from the many skywings they passed.

"Dad, why are they looking at us like that?" Purple remained close to Mango.

Mango turned, walking down hallway that led to the dungeons. "It's because of what we did when we were under Dark's corruption."

"Don't they realize we were corrupted and we couldn't help it? We were under someone else's control." Purple reached back, adjusting his elytra.

"While they may realize that, it still is going to be hard for them to forgive us for what we did, or they will forgive but it will take time to adjust. You remember how it was after the war. Yes, your friends forgave us, but remember how long it took them to actually fully trust us? That's what is happening here. Yes, the skywings may realize we were corrupted and forgive us but it will take time for them to trust us again."

"Will it be the same for the guys with the other tribes?" Purple asked as they neared where Mango had locked Skyfire away, when he had been corrupted and had been King Orange.

"I can only assume it will be, Purple. Face it kiddo, Dark may be gone now, but his damage is going to have lasting effects on this land for many years to come. We're here." Mango opened the door and walked inside.

The room was small. A single cell inside it. This was a specific prison designed for powerul prisoners, like someone of power like a hollowhead or for hiding away a specific prisoner.

Mango walked forward to the bars where an orange skywing lay inside, curled up, clearly sleeping. "Queen Skyfire."

Skyfire lifted her head, seeing Mango and Purple. "What do you two want? Here to do more of your boss' biding?"

Purple opened the door. "On the contrary, your majesty, we are here to put you back where you belong, on your throne."

Skyfire rose to her claws. "Really? But aren't you under Dark's control or corrupted or whatever it is called?"

"We fought it and were freed by our friends." Mango slid into a graceful bow, with Purple following his example. "I am so deeply sorry for what I did to you and this kingdom."

"You are forgiven, Mango. You and your son both are." Skyfire dipped her head to them in a respectful manner.

"Come your highness, let's get you back where you belong." Mango led the way with Skyfire and Purple on either side of him.

As they arrived in the throne room, talon steps could be heard as two dragons came running in. It was Blaze and Scorch.

Blaze smiled triumphantly. "Skyfire! You're back! We heard from some friends in Possibility that the queens were being restored to their thrones and we had to come back immediately."

Scorch then snarled when he saw Mango and Purple. "Guards! Arrest those two immediately!" Scorch called out.

Guards flooded into the throne room surrounding Mango and Purple in seconds.

Skyfire stood up. "Scorch! Stop this!"

"With all due respect your majesty, these two were the reason you were locked away. We need to lock them away before they try anything." A voice sounded and General Firestorm walked into the throne room.

"Firestorm, please. They were corrupted by The Dark Lord and have fought against the corruption, gaining their freedom from it."

Mango then stepped forward. "Every word the queen says is true. I bring news as well. The Dark Lord is dead. He no longer has a hold on Pyrrhia."

Scorch looked at Mango skeptically. "What of Venomara or that grey silkwing? Wouldn't either of them take charge in his place?"

Purple stepped forward, and answered the question. "Victim, along with his mercenaries, has fled. Venomara has been killed."

Skyfire looked at Purple. "Venomara really is dead?"

Purple nodded. "Kill by one of your very own skywings. The firescales known as Vesuvius."

Skyfire flicked her wings. "Then Pyrrhia is finally free of her." She then turned to Scorch. "Scorch, write this down. I, Queen Skyfire, hereby grant a pardon to Mango, Purple, and all their friends. You all will be forgiven of all acts that you were made to do while under the corruption of The Dark Lord."

Mango bowed his head to Skyfire, with Purple followed his father's example. "Thank you so much, your majesty."

"Thank you for returning me to my throne and finally freeing Pyrrhia of the evil that had a grip on this land. If you need anything at all, the skywings are forever in your debt. Go in peace. May the moons guide your paths."

Mango and Purple then responded in unison. "May the moons guide your path."

With a thud of wings and the crackle of a firework, Mango and Purple lifted off into the air, flying back to Possibility. Everyone had agreed that after they ensured the kingdom was back to the way it was, they would all meet at Possibility and go from there.

As they arrived, they were greeted by the three tribrids. Doom walked forward. "Welcome back. Crimson and Goldfinch informed us of the missions everyone is on. You two are the first arrivals back. I have rooms ready in my place. Go pick a room of your choosing and get comfortable."

Both nodded their thanks to Doom, then headed to the house.

Purple arrived at their room, dropped his elytra next to his bed and flopped onto his bed, falling asleep in moments.

Mango laughed watching Purple fall asleep. "Get some rest, my son."

Purple tiredly opened an eye. "Dad?"

Mango looked over. "Hmmm?"

"I love you."

"I love you too, son. Always." Mango walked over and wrapped his wings around Purple, hugging the purple silkwing.

Soft snores sounded as Purple fell asleep leaning against Mango.

Mango then settled down, letting Purple continue to lean and sleep against him. He then sighed, taking a long relaxed breath as finally.

It was over. The war was finished.
