"Can't you stay with us for a few days more?" Shivi asks as I drag the last bag towards the airport entrance.

I give her a tight smile, "I'll visit you again. I promise." I say and hug her tightly.

She breaks into tears as I say I'll miss her, "I'll miss you like hell, Nitu." She sobs against me as my tears don't make an appearance.

They are dried after all the crying I did these days.

"I love you." I say to her and break the hug to kiss my little girl. Khushi senses that I am leaving somewhere and she starts to let out small whimpers.

"Don't cry, Khushi bug." I kiss her soft cheeks, "I'll video call you every chance I get." My heart tightens as I take the fill of her baby smell as much as I can.

Then Vihaan Jiju gives me a light hug, "Tell me if you need anything. We are just a call away." He says gently and I nod at him.

"Take care of them." I say and smile at the three of them.

Just a month ago I was dreaming of starting a family with Aman. My heart twists in agony as I realize that will never happen.

Him and I are over.

I give them one last glance before pushing my suitcase toward my seat. As I move further, their figures fade from view. Shivi is still crying while Jiju holds her, comforting her with Khushi in his other arm.

Taking my seat near the flight board, I notice there are still thirty minutes before boarding begins for my flight to LA.

I organize my passport and documents, trying to focus on anything but him as I watch the board for updates.

"You assumed I loved you. That's not my responsibility."

I close my eyes and hug my carry on close to my aching chest.

Don't give him the power to hurt you again Nitya.

A ping echoes in my phone and I take out my phone to notice that it's Riya's number.

Riya - Bhabi it's Shreya. Please don't leave us. We all love you so much.

My throat tightens as I stare at the screen through my blurry vision.

Riya - Riya and I are not talking to bhai until he brings you back. Please come back home. Even Aditi bhabi misses you.
